I actually remember this show quite well. Neil Young was headlining - with Booker T & The MG's (and I was just a stupid teenager with NO clue who these old gentlemen were).
PJ fans were a bit reserved to some of the new stuff, which was nothing like the "Ten" sound.
But two songs stood out for me: "Animal", which they did really tight and hard-hitting. It felt like a punch in the stomach. And a beautiful version of "Elderly woman" with Ed on guitar.
Remember, this is before Vs. was released (they had just finished recording I think), and almost two years before Cobain's suicide. But...I guess you would rarely see Eddie with a happy face from this point on.
