Motocross is expensive but it's not all about money. It's all about how bad you want it. Ricky Carmichaels family used to travel in a crappy RV racing on a tight budget. James Stewarts family wasn't rich either. Hard work got them where they are. If you have a bike, and somewhere to practice, there is nothing stopping you but excuses or lack of talent, no matter where you live.
Both Stewart and RC grew up with very little money, they weren't poor, but they sure as hell weren't rich kids like you are thinking. Both of them just have amazing talents on a bike and parents that are willing to dedicate their lives to there kids racing.

250 2strokes are faster yes, but they dont run 2 different classes anymore. Theres the 250 class and the open class. 250 class runs anything up to 250cc no matter what stroke it is.

clearly you have never ridden a decent four stroke before. Sure a 125 weighs less. but being heavier also has its advantages, 4 strokes have smooth power throughout any rpm and has more overall range, unlike 2 strokes where you have to rev the piss out of it to get the actual power out of it. I have a kx125 mod and a kx250f mod, I can say both bikes are fantastic but 4-strokes are for the track.

hes cocky but hes training on a track and has all his days planed out he can be a bit cocky, it would take alot of work to get there but the fact that hes on an 85, would help to.... like there small bikes, really easy to move around, theres no way hed be as good on a 125
