1) Yes, it was an exhibition match.

2) Sang didn't hook the ball because the ball was rotating in the opposite direction, so it would be hard to do so.

3) I have no idea.

ahh ok...i failed to read the description of the video...this was indeed just an exibition match afterall... that is why sang were giving all returns to schlager without any degree of difficulty (for their level) ....but still side hooking the ball (in a real match with their skill) is not that hard since sang could have just riden with the spin making the side hook even more effective...and besides..sang was a right-hander, perfect for the direction of the spin....anyways..peace yah all !

believe it or not, those balls are easier to counter then you might think, because it only has a lot sidespin and not a lot of topspin. You only have to aim, instead of using a lot of topspin. But I guess you guys 'd already know that.
