  • i can read dumbass

  • @3ll0kittay good for you. *claps*

  • @dipmvideos thnks, cheers.

  • the active area is really small. disappointing

  • @ZZzzzzzWhat Have you tried it? It's not bad at all unless you make HUGE arm gestures.

  • @dipmvideos

i need a tablet with a large action area for digital painting. its's kind of frustrating when i'm sketching and the trace breaks when it leaves the action area :/

this tablet seemed to be the right one for me but when i saw the active are marks it disappointed me.

  • @ZZzzzzzWhat You get used to it. and the corners are the corners of your screen so you know way ahead before you reach the end. Have you ever used a tablet before?

  • @dipmvideos "so you know way ahead before you reach the end" Well when i'm using a tablet i don't look at it's limits bcs i have to focus on the screen where the drawing is being made.

"Have you ever used a tablet before?" I have a really old one(has 10years) which the action area is a 1/3 smaller than this one.

I guess i'll still think about getting a B Connect since i'm not a professional illustrator and a small low price tablet would be ideal for me, i'll just wait for the price to fall :)

  • @ZZzzzzzWhat yup, price drops are always good! good luck, and let me know when you get one!

  • So many boxes. I just threw mine against the wall with full force and everything go out really smooth.

  • @MrSatanochio Ahaha this might be the best comment I've gotten :P

  • a box inside a box inside a box WTF it makes getting it so much better because it gives you the suspense feeling

  • ... u talked alot about the FREAKIN BOX! -_-

  • @yoshiga123 Yeah :P It was a pretty box though... lol

  • is the bamboo create only in america??

  • I have to admit that I kinda giggled when you said it comes with "Sketchbook Express and Autodesk" Autodesk is the name of the company that publishes Sketchbook

That's like saying a PlayStation bundle comes with "Metal Gear Solid and Sony"

  • @Synicade been mentioned already! D: you all need to stot getting on my back about it. thanks for watching though and I hope everything else was informative!

  • @dipmvideos It was! I loved the review

You should probably put an annotation in the video somewhere correcting it or something though, that would probably stop it

And it's probably extra funny to me since I have worked with their software before xD

  • @Synicade True, I should do that! Thanks!

  • It's a beautiful box indeed

  • I'm sure you've answered this previously...but can this be used with Photoshop CS5?

  • @puddfoxx I have one and yes, you can perfectly use PS5!! It recognizes it from the beginning :)

  • Is the cable that short? and what do u do with the pen after it becomes used or how u call it? :P Do u have to change those things u write with? thx and sorry for my Eng :D

  • @alexandrabutiri2000 p.s: does it come with photoshop paint or zbrush? or u download them online? thx

  • How can it come with autodesk? Autodesk is a programm company!

  • For all aspiring artists out there, i had the same dilema a few months ago and decided to get the bamboo wacom tablet. At first my paintings sucked but not because of the wacom tablet but because of me not being used to photoshops abilities like opacity and colour picking etc etc After a few months now im really getting better on it, have a look at my channel, you will see my master cheif painting done using the bamboo wacom tablet...

  • hey nice review!, let me ask you something, is this tablet good for beginners? like, I'd like to start with this model and then use it when I get better, or should I get a better one?

    Thanks!

  • @danieluan89 awesome tablet for beginner!

  • hey, what is the difference between pen & touch and Fun pen & touch ? thanx !

  • using Canon 5D MK II to record an unboxing... *facepalm*

  • @fdrpyahoocom whats wrong with that?

  • @fdrpyahoocom Commenting with a pointless comment *facepalm*

  • @fdrpyahoocom exactly whats wrong with it the canon 5d ii was voted best dslr camara in the worlds know your facts.

  • Two questions:

    1. This is a dumb question, but is the other end of the stylus an eraser, or do you program one of the buttons to be an eraser?

    2. Would this be good to take notes with for school?

  • @HerpCare101 on some of the models the end is an eraser, and its ok for taking notes (considering you can use your computer and have a power supply)

  • haha put the transcribe audio on LOL

  • Hehehehe sensitive tip

  • dried bamboo is brown.

  • You seem to like your boxes.

  • is this tablet ok to buy.....if ur an artist? plz reply someone!!!!

  • @111wolflover I know the older tablet is amazing i tried my friends older tablet the 60$ wacom tablet i loved it i would say this tablet would be as good as the other if it has the same active area and the eraser other than that for sketching its amazing im not sure how the 1024 pressure thing would handle but im sure if the active area is the same as the old on its amazing. Its good for anime, comics, sketches, just for drawing well if you have the right program

  • but isnt the screen 2 small i m an animator.....and i think thts to small cuz i got 1 but i dont want to open it yet s,o

  • desperately*

  • Not yet released in The Netherlands, OMG I'm so despatately waiting for it!!!!

  • is the tablet compatible with SAI and Photoshop CS5?

  • I hve different package :P like from older ones

  • Isn't sketchbook express free already?

    LOL

  • Is it worth it or should I get the 100 dollar one I have illustrator sooo..

  • Im getting the Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch [Medium]. Do you think is good!?!?!

  • @thebrawlgamerxD I have the Bamboo fun! It's such a great tablet. I recommend this tablet over any other. I've had it for two years and I can't live without it. (:

  • What are the deminsions of the box????

  • is it ok for drawing/painting?

or is there a better one for that? :)

  • What kinda camera are you shooting this video with?

  • @onslought8dubious Canon 5D Mark II (:

  • Rich boy !

  • @cannoir They cost 80 bucks at best buy how is he a rich boy..

  • Ordering mine next week hopefully it works --

  • @MrRaikousen should work just fine for that!

  • @dipmvideos You should fix your annotation, because I think you mean 2012 :D

  • @Capnsquishy hey, thanks for the heads up!

  • Nvm it does

  • Does it work with Mac!?

  • @ironman127b yup, i use it with a mac!

  • @ironman127b I primarily made for mac. Works best with it.

  • Sketchbook express is made autodesk

  • BOUGHT IT...CURRENTLY WAITING FOR IT TO SHIP , THANKS NICO FOR THE REVIEWS AND UNBOXINGS ^^

  • is this good for a first graphics tablet for a beginner? if not can someone recommend me one please

  • @knuckles0135 this is perfect for a beginner! Thanks for watching!

  • @dipmvideos i find the active area to be very small can you recommend me a tablet that has a bigger active area (not too big) with a pen and also cheaper.

  • @knuckles0135 get the bamboo create/ fun pen and touch. they're the same thing, just named differently depending on where you live.

  • @knuckles0135 Actually, it's not that small. Active area is big enough for comfortable work.

  • this or the bamboo fun ? im gonna have one for christmas , so please reply ASAP ><

  • @Crazy4Anim3 the fun is bigger, has 4 buttons and touch feature. it's all up to you!

  • love the un-boxing...so hot

  • hello, can you tell if the pen operates with AA/AAA batteries or no batteries at all?

  • @commandosolo2009 and the levels of pressure 1024 / 2048? please

  • @commandosolo2009 you dont need any batteries if you plug it in via the mini usb cable, but if you get a wireless package for it, it comes with a rechargeable battery that you use.

  • Great vid thanks :D

  • what's the difference between old Pen model and Connect ???

  • Can you draw with this tablet? I wanna get for my birthday ^^

  • @MyCherriiPie1 yup.

  • @MyCherriiPie1 You can also do some pretty cool 3D art with this also, programs like Zbrush, Mudbox and sculptris are great. sculptris is free and mudbox is free if your a student. Zbrush costs.

  • Hey man i have recently purchased the Macbook Air, since it does not have a disk drive is it still possible to install the software needed for the tablet some other way?

  • @theswany5555 the drivers are downloadable

  • what difference is between the graphire 3 wacom tablet an this one??

I have the graphire and I was thinking on buying other, but I don't see why is this tablet better (besides size)

  • Love the pizza box!

  • Looks like crap compared to the Intuos, I'm going to look for one of your reviews on that.

  • @RawGreenTheAnimator i've actually owned an intuos4. twice. I have a crappy unboxing of it from a few years back on my channel. this does everything i need it to do. the intuos i had was a large though, and i'm considering maybe buying the small version or the medium bluetooth version.

  • @dipmvideos The medium is supposed to be perfect size for working with in general while the small is something you use for your dorm or office where your cubicle or living space is really small.

You're very organized with your videos for your age(judging this by your smashing good looks). I'm much rather impressed.

  • how can you possibly draw by looking at the monitor and drawing without seeing what you doing on the tablet?

  • @sadiel1 you get used to it. i always say trust the tablet. its a little bit weird at first but it gets easy.

  • @sadiel1 its like using the laptop cursor pad

  • Is there a tablet where instead of having to look at your screen the whole time, you can just look at the tablet or the screen? I would hate to have to stare at the screen and not know where I am drawing. I'd rather draw on the tablet and it would work just like it does now. Like, you see what your drawing on the tablet...?

  • @DeltaEagleSquad take a look ar the wacom cintiq line. you're going to have to spend around 1000-2500 dollars depending on what model you want though.

  • PLZ PLZ PLZ answer. does it work with photoshop and other design programs? because i could not find such an information. :) thanks a lot

  • @howl192 yup!

  • @dipmvideos oh thank you thank you thank you. :) yeah but i already ordered wacom bamboo capture. i thought it will be more usefull for me. your videos were useful. big thanks from Baku.

  • Just to clarify... the software it comes with is not Sketchbook Express and AutoDesk. It is called AutoDesk Sketchbook Express. One program. "AutoDesk" Sketchbook is like "Adobe" PhotoShop. But thanks for the vid. Have to get my hands on one of these!!! ;)

  • Not sure if this comment posted twice - apologies if it did...

You mentioned you bought the Connect to try the small size. Now that you've used it, how does it compare to the medium size Wacom tablets? I can't decide what size to get - I've never used a tablet and would be primarily using it for photoediting (and also general computer use if I take to it). Thanks for your help.

  • @1223334444Mark small should be perfect for that!

  • @dipmvideos Thanks for the quick response.

  • Could I use this with photoshop? I want to get the creat but it is not in stock in the store I am going to. I have all the programs, so I don't need the programs the create comes with.

  • @Valentynes yes you can

  • @dipmvideos Thank you very much. :)

  • Could I use a Wacom Bamboo Capture specifically for doodling, editing notes, and illustrating? If not, is there a better model or something?

  • @Mattsysawr they are all made to be drawn on.

  • @dipmvideos Ah, thank you.

  • @dipmvideos no problem!

  • could i draw with the capture

  • @JoeCannProductions yup, you can draw with the bamboo capture!

  • wtf is a nib/

  • @cfxrench A nib is the tip of the pen and you can replace it

  • @DjangoTheHuman no its not.

  • Does the connect have an erase feature? (Where you flip the pen and it auto takes out the erase tool in photoshop)

I was using a Wacom tablet in a class (they provided them for us to borrow) and it looked like the connect but it had 2 buttons at the top and the pen had an "eraser" when you flipped it.

I don't remember the model though, do you think this is it?? I really liked that tablet they supplied us D:

  • @SilentValtiel8 mine has an eraser, but it doesnt seem to work so i cant confirm whether or not this model can. my previous bamboo fun could though.

  • ну и че это за гавно? хот бы показал как работает. тупой пиндос.

  • So I would llike to use the Bamboo Connect for taking notes in physics and higher level math classes. Do @dipmvideos (you) think that thi would be the right tablet for me?

  • I'm so sorryy for asking way too many questions! Haha

  • @brainsopas haha thats not a problem!

  • Oh and are you from the Philippines? Where did you buy your tablet? I can't find this exact model anywhere :|

  • @brainsopas i live in the us.

  • @dipmvideos Oh okay. Thanks!

  • how is it for drawing/painting?

  • @brainsopas yup!

  • @dipmvideos how is it? Is it pressure sensitive enough? Can I make drawings without having to change the opacity and size of the brush all the time?

  • @brainsopas yup. i believe the sensitivity is on par with the older intuos3, which was used by professionals for years. try it and but an intuos4 if youre not happy with it.

  • @dipmvideos Okay cool, thank you! This helped a lot! :)

  • The original first edition bamboo do have detachable cables. I have the first edition of the Bamboo fun which has it.

  • @Orako1337 i didnt know that, thanks!

  • @Orako1337 Previous Line. Second Generation You've got the First Generation

  • @Kadenl97 Is that not what my comment said? It clearly says I have a "First edition". What is the point to your comment?

  • cant wait for the revieww :DD

since im getting it once it's out in my local electronics store. xD

  • @dipmvideos What are the nibbs for?

  • @SapphireSonic the one on the pen wears out with use. you have to replace them after time.

  • @dipmvideos anywhere i could buy more nibs?

  • @Zlykin yup, the wacom website has them. i believe amazon sells them too.

  • @SapphireSonic Ok ok. So would you recommend this to someone who's buying a Tablet for the first time. I wanna use it to draw in Photoshop

  • Autodesk: brand, sketchbook express : software. It's got only 1 software, they aren't different !!

  • I dont get why this is so big, when the active area is so small.

  • @stylizhmathias it isnt that big, and theres more to a tablet than the surface area. there are electronics involved.

  • @dipmvideos It looks way bigger than the old bamboo im using at my school tho. Its not the thickness of it really, i reckon the lenght is bigger here

  • @stylizhmathias i'm sure they could have made it a little smaller seeing as it has no buttons on the tablet, but having the same housing as the capture would be cheaper on wacom's part.

  • Guys.. i'm gonna buy my first tablet and i cant decide between the conect and the capture... i have no experience with tablets or anything and i am trying to buy that's best for me now (as a begginer) and in the future :) thanks

  • @KatiiezCam what will you be doing with it?

  • @dipmvideos well i study graphic design and i'm planning to use it on that and i also want to learn digital illustration :)

  • @KatiiezCam its definitely a good tablet to start with. you might wanna look at the connect as its has buttons you can program to anything you want. if you use the keyboard for shortcuts like i do, the connect should be perfect!

  • @dipmvideos ok.. thank you very much for your support and advice! :D Now i think i know what i want :)

  • @KatiiezCam no problem! let my know if you have anymore questions!

  • How does this compare to the old version? better, same or worst? Thanks in advance.

  • @her0ize in terms of presure levels and resolution is the same actually. i'll post a full review in a few days

  • And Why it is 80 bucks for only a 5'' x 4'' Active area?? like.. wtf you will draw with it? idk why Wacom Bamboo products are so expensive

  • @TheMasamura112 its not that small, especially if you're working form a laptop. it speeds up workflow so it basically pays for itself right away if you use it for paid work. mine has paid for itself already.

  • @dipmvideos Hmm anyways I'll get a cheaper version Wacom Bamboo CTL460 is cool and cheaper well thats the thing i could find that i could afford :( xD

  • @TheMasamura112 if you're in the us, you can get the bamboo connect for cheaper in amazon or b&h

  • @dipmvideos Thx for your support and helping me out, but sadly I'm not IN, IN, the USA I'm in a USA Protectorate called Puerto Rico (I have lived the whole live here and which is the one I'm moving from -.-) So many people in eBay sell those items but they don't ship to U.S. Protectorates like Puerto Rico (YEH that mega-sucks XD) but anyways! I Worked today and I got my money so I can buy it :D

  • *Haven't saw the full video* Can you draw with it like normally any other tablet... I Mean by adding Connect to the name makes it a little bit more awkward, but you can use it normally like in Photoshop etc, etc. ?

  • @TheMasamura112 of course.

  • CREATE*** not craft

  • autodesk sketchbook express is 1 software not 2

  • @zoommircea i know

  • yes!!
