@MegaJoe63 BUT, you don't use the same kind of skates. They aren't sharpened to skate fast, they are sharpened in the fashion so that the goalie easier can go down and save with the shin pads (dunno what it's called in english)
@JustWickedSwede yes, you have a valid argument. we also need to be able to stay in good position and be balanced while people are pushing us constantly when our job is to stop the puck. and with the different skates, sometimes it is more awkward when you have to rush to a certain area since the goalie skates aren't designed to go real fast. i sharpen my skates all the time. you can't have them real dull. lol they're leg pads. it's okay :)

Roy just been the greatest...All those playoffs records!The ONLY goalie who could face HEXTALL and had repect from him.Roy just beat Vernon clean(Vernon did nothing but reverse Roy once he was tired after all the shots he landed).Vernon didn't land the majority of the shots he took.Hasek can't even skate without falling...even when goaltending!Always on his ass!He would have got his ass kicked hard.As for Malby,he learned....never go in a goalie circle!You have the entire ice for you to skate!

goalies have alot though dude, if they fuck up then they and the entire team is fucked and then scored on lol. and we can skate backwards just as good, if not better. that is mostly what we are doing. then fuckin 20 pounds of equipment.

@MegaJoe63 BUT, you don't use the same kind of skates. They aren't sharpened to skate fast, they are sharpened in the fashion so that the goalie easier can go down and save with the shin pads (dunno what it's called in english)

@JustWickedSwede yes, you have a valid argument. we also need to be able to stay in good position and be balanced while people are pushing us constantly when our job is to stop the puck. and with the different skates, sometimes it is more awkward when you have to rush to a certain area since the goalie skates aren't designed to go real fast. i sharpen my skates all the time. you can't have them real dull. lol they're leg pads. it's okay :)

I like to help my team out a bit, and when you risk letting in a goal when you leave your crease to get a puck, you better be the best skater out there. that is how i look at it at least. so sorry i don't have your shitty playstyle douchebag. haha my pic is of me in all my goalie gear out on the ice.
