They are either using a non-GoPro camera, or one they don't sell. I'm seeing this on some of their other ads as well. We need a bit of truth in advertising, GoPro.

Again, this footage was NOT shot on a GoPro because they do not sell a camera capable of 1080p at 60fps.

@MrSandPants yeah, you can add frames in on twixtor mate, what it does is it takes each two frames and joins them together to make the missing one that should be between the two, for example.. frame one and frame 2 are mixed making a frame between them that has both photos mixed to get that effect. So you could do it with gopro footage but twixtor generally makes everything super slo mo

@MrJcm94 You develop a skill for reading the waves, the currents...Usually there's a set of big waves every few minutes or 15, 30 minutes, depends. surfers can feel when the set's coming in so they(we) paddle out further. The first wave's sometimes the best, other times it's the second or third. It's quite easy to figure out but there's always surprises.

But yeah it's about reading the ocean.
