  • That equals Heart attack Mmkay?

  • @WARRENCOOK1995 There is no Walt Disney and You promo on this video! Now get out of here and don't bother us nomore!

  • @WARRENCOOK1995 Nope. This tape does not have the Walt Disney and you promo at the end

  • Ywah, right! Don't give him that crap, we know you're faking! You've stolen everyone's videos and given them ridiculous names! However, I would like to heard from GameShowNetwork himself if this has that promo at the end.

  • @systemoperator No Walt Disney and You at the end

  • Oh, alright. I got you now.

  • @systemoperator Yeah I have the feeling this Warrencook person is like the Bradondorf person. He needs to be banned from YouTube sometime. Cause all he ever does here is "steals" other people's videos and saying the videos come from somewhere else.

  • You're right! He should.

  • I remember getting spooked the first time I saw the Neon Mickey logo as a kid.... Yes, I was a weird, easily-spooked kid. Now I'm a weird, easily-spooked young woman.

  • Comment removed

  • According to CLG Wiki, the last home video release to feature the Neon Mickey was released on June 25, 1986...that was only 22 days after I was born.

  • very weird version

  • Do you have any more Disney VHS tapes with the Neon Mickey logo?

  • coolie

  • 0:28 - 0:36 The two standing cards holding up the RKO logo is missing? What happened to that first picture? Maybe some foolish company censored it out on purpose. Or maybe RKO went defunct for thirty years since 1959.

  • @CrackUpCliponica

"The two standing cards holding up the RKO logo is missing?"

Back then, there was little concern about the historical importance of the art that signified RKO Radio as distributor of Disney films.

Plus, there would be legal concerns over the credit as the movie's distribution rights belonged to Buena Vista (parent of Walt Disney Company back then) rather than RKO in the 1980s.

  • @Watcher3223 The logos were eventually restored starting in the 1990s. Pinocchio recently had it's original RKO custom logo restored though other releases on video (except the 1985 Video release) had the Buena Vista logo. As far as the cartoon shorts are concerned, they may be taken from re-release prints so they would have the Buena Vista logo (with the 1950s BV trumpet fanfare) or have no logo at all.

  • I have the 1981 Beta =D

  • Does this tape have the Walt Disney and you promo at the end?

  • This is very similar to the 1986 Black Casing tape of Sword In The Stone that I ordered off Amazon weeks ago but my copy does have the preview for the Journey of Natty Gann. Does this tape have the Walt Disney and You Promo at the end?

  • Don't be daft, there's no such version as that!

  • @systemoperator Hey, I was just asking, okay?!?!

  • No, no, no, I was talking about that fake opening and closing of "The Sword in the Stone" you brought up!

  • @systemoperator Well it's not fake! Just look at the opening and closing that I posted on Dailymotion and you'll see for yourself! It's the same name as my youtube channel.

  • Doubtful

  • I haven't seen this opening since I was a kid!

  • I recently got a Black casing Sword in the Stone tape in the mail and my copy is kinda similar to this tape. But the Neon Mickey logo appears after the Journey of Natty Gann trailer.

  • Wasn't this logo used for only the Winnie the Pooh featurettes?

  • @lionboy923

    Yes, I remember that! =D

  • Hold it, one moment. If this version is real and has this on here, then that means...Oh Dear God, I've made a terrible mistake! The 1986 version with the 1984 orange-red FBI screens and 1984 WDC logo has no previews. How could I have been so blind?

  • GameShowNetwork Can You Upload The Opening Previews To The 1985 VHS Of Mary-Poppins (1964)?

  • @ILoveLogos75 I dont have that tape.

  • Where did you find this? I have the 1985 VHS of "Summer Magic" but its has no 1984 FBI screens, just the 1983 WDHV "Neon Mickey" logo which was only halfway through as well as the start of the film, no Buena Vista logo shown on my tape. Pretty good find. I owe you one!

  • Does this have the cardboard slipcase?

  • yes

  • Maybe this was a 1985 print.

  • The print date is 4/10/86

  • It's just the print date, it doesn't mean anything.

  • According to the closed captions:

    CAPTIONS COPYRIGHT 1985

    WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS

so this must be a 1985 tape master, despite this being released in 1986.

  • I think this must've been made before the WDC release.

  • @systemoperator your right. The movie was released in 1983 on VHS. This W.D. Classics release from 1986 was the second release of the film and was the fifth title in Classics packaging (the Walt Disney Classics video product line).

  • Actually, that cop you're talking about is from 1981.

  • @systemoperator even though videos4everybody claims his copy is from 1983

  • Well, it's true his copy is from 1983, but he has a newer version. The first and old print came out in 1981, for rent only.

  • @GameShowNetwork

In fact, this is obviously one of the FEW tapes that were closed captioned and also contained the 1983 WDHV logo.

  • @systemoperator Oh no. This is from 1986. The WDHV logo proves it all silly.

  • No, it doesn't. It's 1985 because it's just like "Dumbo".

  • @systemoperator but Dumbo used the WDC logo in 1985.

  • No, it used this in 1985.

  • @systemoperator In 1986 too.

  • No, they didn't use this in 1986. they changed to the 1984 WDC logo.

  • @systemoperator So this is from 1984?

  • No, this is from 1985.

  • @systemoperator But you said the WDC logo came out in 1984.

  • Just because the logo's from then, it doesn't mean this is.

  • @systemoperator Then what films were released as a WDC in 1984?

  • Only "Robin Hood".

  • @systemoperator The Sword in the Stone?

  • That was 1986.

  • @systemoperator I thought Dumbo and Alice in Wonderland were too

  • Nope, "Dumbo" was 1985 and "Alice in Wonderland" was 1986.

  • @systemoperator Alive in Wonderland had no VDA though.

  • Actually, later copies of that did.

  • @systemoperator Any trailers?

  • No, it's the same as the 1986 prints of my favorite film and "Alice in Wonderland".

  • @systemoperator But didn't your favorite film have a trailer?

  • Oh my gosh! This is indeed a very rare copy! I don't recall ever seeing a copy like this; great find!

    --Aubrey

  • Actually, Imaxination80 and I each have a 1985 copy of Dumbo with the Neon Mickey logo.

  • Does this tape have the Walt Disney and You promo at the end?

  • Yes, in fact that tape of "Dumbo" does have the 1982 "Walt Disney and You" promo at the end. So does the 1984 VHS of "Robin Hood", only that actually has the 1984 WDC logo on the tape.
