are they playing over the recording? the vocals sound the same in all the live sets i've seen and that god-awful screeching noise is still in Miscarriage. i mean, i still love the band, just am curious about the live part.
@AustinOConnellVideos they have the screeching noise and other recorded parts playing on a backing track, but the vocals and instruments are definitely not recorded.

@darkngga It wasnt a puppy whining at all. The plot in you clarified it on their facebook that the sound came from when a mic gets to close to an amp during recording, and they just decided to leave it on their because they liked the effect it had.
