Nice song but how does this capture the torment of the earthquake? A rap with a piano ostinato? I think it was a little more painful than that.

@wagneristhebest nice reductionist fallacy. nature's discomforting lack of empathy towards its destructive tendencies is more effectively evoked with modern idioms over the orchestral dissonances, now-cliched orchestral stabs, and painfully long, deliberating pieces of a bygone era. the huge drums are interruptive yet embrace the introspective piano line and are an elegant metaphor for the duality of the calm within the storm. the more you ignore jazz the more you will stagnate as an artist.
