Crysis MUST be very cpu dependent then because I only get 30-45fps with 8800GTS SLI @ 1680x1050. But my cpu is kinda low AMD 64x2 5200+ @ 2.8ghz. I bet if I had the core 2 duo you got i would get like 10-15fps better.

overclock your cpu with riva tuner or with your motherboard fsb, and get a new videocard, a dx10 one. If you have agp go for the 3850 agp and if its pci express then go for an 8800gs/gt or 9600gt or even the radeon hd series would suite u well. I reccomend the 8800gs though

one problem thats not exactly max settings... your resolution sucks which makes it look ALOT worse in gameplay... thats the only reason you could max out most everything else

8gb of ram is totally un necessary and the 9800gtx is allright but just a rebranded G92 8800GTS. Hard drive is a bit too big for most peoples needs and that quad needs overclocking BADLY.
