My aliens work now and even with the invicibilty trick its still impossible!!! Its harder than Roller Bob.

O_O How do you get the aliens to hit the claw? They never do on my version!!! Please help!!! (Also, I'm playing US toy story. Does that difference anything?)

@mariosonic66 No difference, the US version is the one I played as a kid. The first hit would be to make an alien jump out from the pile and then you have to hit it a second time while it's in the air, try to hit upwards or something. The collision detection is not perfect in this part.

The music at this level is epic. When I played this level for the first time and struggled with it, it was intense. I've gotten good enough to actually sometimes make the claw drop Buzz as soon as it got him.  Before it moved to the right. Not every time of course. I'm sure there are people who can though.

I remember the first time beating this level as a kid, I was pressing buttons contantly to see what would work, and when I say that what I was doing was working, I stuck with it.

I F-ing love toy story but this is horrible i do just like in your video but the aliens never ever will hit the claw or know buzz off and they are clearly making contact to do so....WTF man i am confused..help me please give me a tip or something.

@aldriRsk8s It's loosely based on the Toy Story license, that's why there are many changes. Like if you've played the recent Wolverine Origins game, it has close to nothing to do with the movie it is based on.

I don't know how I did it, but one time I whipped the claw in such a position that I automatically won. I have yet to see a video describing that scenario, however.

I finished this game really a lot of time and this never happened to me. You must've been really lucky, probably hit it as soon as the game would let you.

In the megadrive version, strangely enough, there was a string that damaged you every time it touched you.

You know, this is a rather odd fight. The game can't move along till you defeat the Claw, but since Sid ends up capturing both you and Buzz in order to move the plot along, then I guess that kinda makes winning the fight pointless! 'Course, never mind that in the movie, Woody obviously didn't try to save Buzz by throwing the LGMs at the Claw.
