  • model did look better after all that makeup...in the end she looked pale, oily, and boyish (either bad makeup artist or bad products)

  • @AnimaLuvTT080307 your comment doesn't make sense

  • i'd love to see that on someone with bad skin

  • I'd like to see her do this makeup on someone 40 yrs old

  • I didn't like what she did on eyebrows.

  • That skin was already...perfect. Why use makeup on that girl? Pointless.

  • I think the model was more beautiful without makeup.

  • I don't like the way that concealer works. The product ends up on your hand, not on your dark area's.

  • the model already had make-up on

  • agree video is pointless. Why would I rush out and buy any of these products when I haven't seen results on bad skin??????

  • pink hair? o.e

  • I don't know what foundation she used, I'm sure she said, but holy did it ever make her skin look greasy!

  • "Basically flawless". That really pulled at something in me. Even a highly esteemed model is still only pretty good. It makes it seem like nobody has a chance unless they use makeup. So, if she's average, what does that make us, and how are we supposed to strive to be beautiful?

  • lol i love how her skin is flippin amazeing before any make up is applied. seriously if my skin looked like that i would be like screw make up . God they never actually show someone with problem skin to see if the products REALLY works, because honeslty she is so pretty u could slap some frikin skin colored mud on her face and the lady would be like wow thie is a flawless finish hahahha

  • I don't know if I like the finish on that foundation, it looks like her skin is coated with butter, which is probably just an excess of shimmer as the makeup artist claims it is 'oil free'.

After they powder it's okay, but if it's a mineral powder, she'll just be gleaming again in about twenty minutes.

  • Well gosh...I wish I had her 'imperfections'.

  • soooo i think she looks super oily and ugly with all of the makeup.... wow... but i think she looks like that because it is runway makeup.

  • @bronh12 no, she looks like that cause they forgot to apply face powder to fix it all and take off the oily-looking shine.

  • @valericool they applied powder it just didnt cover the shine.

  • @bronh12 oh i see why. cause after all this makeup they applied a translucent powder (no pigmented) just to fix. i think they should have used a little of a pigmented face powder, so it would cover the shine and fix too of course.

  • i wonder where icould go to have a smashbox artist do these 6 steps on me so i'd know not onlyhow to apply it but also to find my right shade

  • The lady behind her with the pink hair needs to rethink that color.

  • Her eyebrows looked better without all the shit she put on them. She made them look like fuzzy brown caterpillars.

  • With the foundation she looked better, however she ddint really need it..

  • of course they had makeup on her before they started shooting

  • I wish I had skin like that. She doesn't even have under eye circles! She didn't need all that stuff. Maybe just a little powder so that she could stop the oil, but that's it! If I had skin like that all I'd wear would be eye liner, mascara, blush and lipstick. Wearing foundation is a drag, but necessary if you have redness on your face like me.

  • that model is beautiful

  • Before 0:17 and After 4:00

No difference ! !! Then use Photoshop to make difference !

  • She already had flawless skin.

    honestly the people these days...

    :@

I don't think they would make make-up videos of people with un-flawless skin. That would be the real test, wouldn't it?

  • luminous effect really love it!where can i buy smashbox cosmetics here in malaysia???

  • I think her face looks oily with that makeup...too shiny

  • thats kelly cutrone is in the background shes in black with black glasses...she must be working this show...awesome!

  • Sorry, but the eyebrows look awful.

  • I agree, that model was already flawless! *lucky**

  • holy crow that model pretty!

  • 3:26 Kelly Kitrone from The Hills and The City..lol

  • the eye brows look hilarious, awful, horrible

  • The model already had flawless skin before any makeup. Pointless video.

  • whyy is that pink poodle in the background??

  • omg if she need to have fundation ..than i dont really know....but beautiful video

  • wow the models beutiful she dont need much makeup

  • does the makeup have a greyish tone or what?

  • the damn lady with the cotton candy head fxcking ruined it in the beggining

  • HAHA COTTON CANDY HEAD!!!! the lady with pink hair?? Lol, that comment made me laugh XD

  • lol shes young, she doesn't need that shit. shes beauiul also, she got good skin. so she doesn't need that

  • i know right? why dont they get someone with acne and pimples up the yingyang, then try out the product?

  • her eyebrows look better before .. lol

  • shes beautifull she doesnt need any face makeup

  • stunning model

  • she says "what i loove (...)" exacly the as lauren conrad. funny...

  • when they do these kinds of demonstrations it'd be nice if they used someone who doesn't already have flawless skin....

  • hmm... i don't think you'll be finding that in smashbox. try coverfx, they specialize in full coverage makeup for people with bad skin. smashbox is more about enhancing somewhat good skin, for models, etc.

  • well the models look happy,

    don't they :|

  • haha i know she looks so upset!

  • when she was using the brow tech she said start in the front, but in one of the other "brow" videos this guy said do NOT start in the front...hmmm? interesting

  • Many of the SmashBox foundations and the MakeUp Forever foundations you use just a pinch and get AMAZING coverage. I just purchased the Smashbox HD and my daughter got the Makeup Forever Mat Velvet matifying and we hardly use any and get amazing coverage. Which is a good thing as they are expensive. Both brands are worth a try, BUT be sure to pick the one that goes with the type of skin that you have or you will not be happy.

  • I am not sure how old most of you are that are posting comments, but I am well into my 50's and look like I am in my late 30's. It is because I found a skin routine that fit "MY SKIN" and kept on a routine. Also no matter what I have ALWAYS used sunscreen and quit tanning around 17. I have very few wrinkles if any. A skin routine is important. But just because something works on one person does not mean it will work for you.

  • 3d you dont nead those things if you are under 40 in my opinion plus

4th women who use those things more they get older faster than the ones who use them less (this has been proved it is not my opinion)

PS a simple pouder good night sleep and confidens to your self is just fine if you are under 40 if you wanna cover something put some fundation and you will look wonderfull

  • That's a good video, but it's true! Wrinkles get more numerous and skin gets stressed. For daily use, the best is to apply the right concealer exactly where the spots or imperfections are and fade it with fingers. Moisturize night and day especially the eyes and lips area. Such an application is suitable for models or actresses on scene, so unless you have an important party or event, you don't go through so many applications.

  • 2ont you will never look like this only by using the products because you don't sleep 12 hours a day as this woman has at list the night before you dont have the proper lights on your face at list not all the time (well you have photoshop when everything other fails it works for me)

  • this woman is a profesional as my self she is payed to make anyone buy this....

    i can garanty you that

1st consiler is definitly not udes this way(this is why this is an advertisment not a how to video)

  • every one is saying the same thing here. and im going to say it again. - where are the imperfections...what the heck is she talking about!

  • Comment removed

  • she had beautiful skin to begin with, its hard to compare with someone without imperfections.

  • Her skin is already beautiful. I didn't notice a difference between the start and end. Why don't you take someone with genuinely band skin and experiment on them?

  • that model already have flawless sking already

  • SHE IS A MODEL pluss there are lights and photoshop

  • even without photoshop they are still flawless, not all models gets their picture photoshop..sometime they just leave it naturally..

  • Yah I don't.

They just get makeup artists to... do my makeup?

    LOL

Thats what got me into it.

  • ahaha i see...and your boy? wow..cool..

  • um.... you cant photoshop a video. NewSOUL is right, not everyone needs PS for flawless skin, some actually do have it....

  • sounds like shes reading from a script lol. the model looked like she was already wearing makeup, its a nice minimally basic tutorial however

  • her skin is beautiful how it is, she doesnt need much. If you already have nice skin don't put on so much make up because you risk your pores widening.

  • she already have perfect skin! the makeup artist looks like shes not even putting any make up on her...all the makeup she put on the model looks INVISIBLE lolz...well except the brow part....

  • GREAT PRODUCT !

i was introduced to it a couple of weeks ago and I've been using it since then. and I love it !!!!!

  • in my opinion she already had practically perfect skin, she is very pretty! I doubt that it would make my skin look flawless!

  • @xXsophieboXx you can actually see if you look closely that she doesn't have perfect skin, there are some definite imperfections around her chin and darkness around her eyes.

  • @MayanMomma thats nothing, I still see that as perfect skin. I'd never wear makeup if i looked like she does

  • she already like had flawless skin lol but that was good

  • the girl she was demonstrating on was really really pretty :)

  • i loved it!

  • I understand the effect you're trying to create with the 'live' tutorials...but all the background noise and action going on is very distracting.

  • ooh i love what you did with the concealer (on the hand). gonna try this now.
