I'm sure it is not easy to have a loved one in the military and at war. I contacted the Candian army and they called me several times but I couldn't get my Core Documents together in time. Also my wife didn't want me to go into the army. The job the soldiers are doing is dangerous but very important. All of us civilians can live in peace and freedom because of the job they do.

Before his unit got back to Germany last December, they were training Iraqi soldiers to take their place. Those Iraqis in large numbers didn't desire to, didn't care, or couldn't comprehend basic training.

So what should we do?

Should we leave our troops there forever to babysit this Democracy we gave them even though it will never be able to function?

If they wanted it , couldn't they have thought of it themselves during the last 2,000 years?

The main reason I didn't join the US army after they spoke to me was because I didn't want to have to go threw the processes of getting a green card. Also my father-in-law that did 20 years in the RCAF disagrees with the Iraq war. He did right from the beginning.
