@washedinblood Just wanted to say thanks for the upload. I'm 25 now, but not to many years ago, I used to watch all the old game shows on GSN with my girlfriend, until they stoped airing everything. Newlyweds was one of our favs. we used to play along with the show and answer the questions and see if we matched up. we did pretty well. now, we are planning our wedding which will be a little over a year from now. thanks again for the memories. and may your family grow even bigger with grandkids

Both are married and my son and his wife are expecting their second child, a little girl in March. They have already blessed us with a grandson who is the joy of our lives. The little boy my wife was carrying on the show was stillborn on July 20, 1978 about 2 1/2 months after the show was taped.

This show was taped in May 1978.On July 20th 1978 my wife delivered a stillborn baby boy who would have turned 32 last week. We did go on to have two children, a girl who is now 30 and a fifth grade teacher and a boy who is now 27 and an L.A. County sheriff's deputy. We are still very happily married with one little grandson and another grandchild due March 9. My wife is an absolute angel and I could not imagine life without her. The husband of couple #4 saw this for the first time on You Tube.

There was a 1970's episode of The Newlyweds that had a particularly effeminate husband that spoke with quite a feminine tone. When asked about the paint color for their home, his answer was "loim, definitely loim" (lime). The wife's answer however was avocado which ended up in him having the mother of all prissy fits. The audience was in hysterics and the other 3 husbands were in total disbelief. Bob Eubanks was perfect and didn't miss a beat. It was classic.
