1 Influence is enough. Make sure Influence's user is alive and, if it's Ryu, that he doesn't transform.

Yeah. Very possible with a lot of patience and the Monopolize Death trick.

How is your level so low? You must have fought many battles which should have increased your level.. How is it possible?

One character used Monopolize and died before the end of the battle, resulting in no experience for anybody. This was done whenever possible.

You know, now that I sit back and think about it, did they ever actually explain why Teepo's dragon form was so insanely powerful when Ryu was the one with the full power of the Brood, or how Teepo was able to pretty much break time and space by combining the souls of every party member into some whacked-out nightmare, or how Teepo managed to get across the ocean and the desert of death or even find Myria in the first place?

The beginning of the game stressed Teepo's arrogance, confidence, strength as compared to Ryu's (who was passive and compassionate). So there you have it.
