what rod and reel are you using ?

@xesse1 Can you give me a time on the video of the rod/reel as we used about 4 different rod and reel combos. Match set ups and Carp rods.

@xesse1 Those are a proper old school rod and reel that Steve has had since he was 15 and he's 32 now. The reel is a Shimano 5010 you wont find this model in the shops any more but its pretty close to the Shimano 6000RA. The rod is a Abu Garcia 2 1/4 test curve carp rod, not sure of the model but I'll post it on here when I see him next.
He's used them longer than I've been Carp fish and he'd be lost without them.

great vid guys, looks like you had a good session. videos of my session today will be up soon, i caught 9 carp and lost 2 and 1 tench, and my mate caught 6 carp.
