I am a recovered fibromyalgic who left the medical profession to discover the cause and cure for this horrific disease after 15 years of failed treatments. I understand this illness completely from the inside and back out again. Symptoms are often mistaken as a cause and what can help does not cure. Please, do not give up and keep going. See my You Tube video "Curing Chronic Fibromyalgia - Choosing What Works" and my best wishes to you all!!!
Everytime I watch any of your Vlogs, it's loke I am listening to myself. Except the bladder issues, I am right there with you. I hope you continue to make videos as they are helpful to watch and just to know I am not alone. Thank you and keep your chin up and do the best you can.
Dianna-you probably don't remember me, but I just want to thank you so much for writing me back in June, just before my septoplasty/turbinate reduction. I was creeped out about doing this surgery and you and you videos helped me more than you know..Blessings....Robert....Missouri
I'm 4 days post op and doing horrible. I hate the taste, feel and smell of blood! Today, I vomited and actually cried! I can't take it anymore. My nose is completely stuffed, though I'm bleeding a lot less. I hate using the saline sprays as they make me more nauseous. You still have to use them even after 6 weeks?! :'( ohh man... I'm gonna cry now. lol. My next visit w/ the doc is this Tuesday.. :(((
.....well.... *sniff, sniff* great vids! Very informative!
@SourCandy24x Are they having you irrigate your nostrils with Normal Saline? I do it 3X a day, had the surgery on the 1st, and today (the 3rd) about all I have is a little, light serous drainage. Then again, they put the kind of packing in mine that dissolves with time. That's part of what the NS is for, but it also got rid of the blood clots, etc. Hang in there! ; )

Hi. Thanks for the great videos. I had septolasty 2 days ago. I also had the tip of my nose raised up a little. I watched your videos and I noticed that the shape of your nose changed (to the better) over time, so shall I expect that my nose will only continue to look better? It feels very stiff now and slightly raised and I don't like it that it remains raised. Thanks.
Its amazing that so many people with MS have the same symptoms and suffer the same crappy MS consequences. I mustve screwed someone over big-time or been a Yankees fan in another life to deserve this.
Weekly martial arts training, lots of vitamins and depression meds work for me. I dont recommend marijuana, too many downsides for me anyway.
I am doing great. There is no limit on your singing except that you will be stuffy and probably not feel like it. After I got the splints out (and the initial stitch holding them), things were up hill from there. Currently, I am no longer stuffy and the only stuffiness is caused by allergies which I treat with Zyrtec and an array of nasal sprays,
How are doing following Septoplasty/Turbinate reduction today? I am having my own surgery later this week. Thx for the vids! I see you also play music. I sing and play guitar, how long after surgery do you have to wait before resuming singing?
Hmm, not sure if NY is legal yet. I live in MT, I'm sure it will be legalized eventually in every state. I hope the pain clinic helps. Its always best to start with the doctor recommended stuff first. Keep us posted.

Hello.
I wanna ask you about sneezing.
Does it affect the splints in my nose ?
abuokab 2 years ago
Your splints are secured by a stitch at the bottom of your septum. Sneezing should not bother them. Just do it as gently as you can. :)

Thank you for the info! It makes me less nervous before my procedure! I will follow your advice about post-op supplies as well!

Get medical marijuana hon. I have MS and it works fabulous for pain for me. I don't have depression anymore either.

Is it available in the US? I am not sure that it is (at least in New York).
