Haha my only experience like this I had...was when I lost control of my 4 yr old QH mare while going up this hill/trail to the barn...and she took off running and wouldnt stop and jumped over a riding mower at the top of the hill. Not so fun,but I didnt fall off. ^_^ lol I was luckier then most of these people in this video thats for sure!!!
i fell worse than all of these i was at riding camp what ever thing and i was doing so good he let me out in a huge pasture i was riding a 32 year old stallion bay i turned a corner and he changed gates i didn't notice and he went to a full speed gallop jumped a tractor and i fell broke my shoulder with it now im 17 i own 24 horses and i have fell about 100 times but i love all of my horses!
yall talking about painful accidents. i have been put in the hospital because of horse accident. I was riding on a switch back up in the mountains and the road gave out. it was the scariest thing. Good news is i still ride and my little horse is still my best friend.

The two types of cowboys you mention are 2 of the same. I own 1500 cows and right now they all have calves and about a 100 horses and all of my family and I rodeo. It is what we do for fun. Some ppl go to the lake to swim, ski, fish or what ever their into. Most of my friends are ranchers and guess what they do for fun.
no I don't beat horses but, I don't tolorate bad behavior from a horse either. I must do something right with them I am a member of the prca and right now my horses have help me earn $75,000 and I sell 20 horses every year that will average $15,000.
I wear my helmet when i am practising and out riding but when i show i wear my cowgirl hat. ive had some falls and helmets do little but they do more than wat a hat does. i split my head i was still wearing a helmet.
yeah theres no guarantee no matter what you wear but most head injuries wouldve been alot worse with out a helet, in my opinion its better to be safe than sorry

Exactly, plus in many English shows you are required to wear a helmet. Western is mostly where you see riders without them... At least that's how it is with all the western riders in my area (And there are ALOT) and about 75% of the English riders in the area wear helmets so...
yea i mean ALOT of horse related injuries could be avoided if people just wore helmets, if a few people think youre weird because you wear one, or if your a little uncomfaortable for an hour or two thats nothing compared to spending the rest of your life bein fed through a tube or completly paralized

Exactly, plus in many English shows you are required to wear a helmet. Western is mostly where you see riders without them... At least that's how it is with all the western riders in my area (And there are ALOT) and about 75% of the English riders in the area wear helmets so...

yea i mean ALOT of horse related injuries could be avoided if people just wore helmets, if a few people think youre weird because you wear one, or if your a little uncomfaortable for an hour or two thats nothing compared to spending the rest of your life bein fed through a tube or completly paralized

CAE i see nothing wrong with that we do that all the time! He he anywho yeah ouch! the last bit, that is a good reason to teach a horse to have it drag something around so it doesn't painc! It hurts thanks to my pony it was quite an experince and it was all for our cat he he ha ha xb

After working with horses for 13 years I prolly had a few episodes that looked like that.I am soo glad no-one had a video camera then.. But it sure is funny watching it happen to other ppl.
