IMO, Grant Hill was on the way to being a great NBA player, but when he got that ankle injury, he was never the same like he was from 1995 to 2000.

Duke does have some quality players in the NBA now, as does UNC. Historically, UNC alumni have had more success in the NBA than Duke alumni, but that could always change. And I'm a UNC fan, but I still recognize and respect the talent and coaching ability of Coach K and see him as one of the best coaches in the game. I understand it's a rivalry and fans are going to hate the "enemy", but take a lesson from the players and coaches and have some respect too.

I'm a Duke fan and I admire what you said. I'm glad you have respect for Coach K and Duke. I have respect for UNC. It's a really good school with an awesome basketball program. I just hope our teams will be good next year. I'm still wondering how that's going to turn out.

I would disagree. Shane Battier, Carlos Boozer (was on the 2008 olympic team), Luol Deng, Elton Brand, Mike Dunleavy, Grant Hill, Corey Maggette, Chris Duhon, and Dahntay Jones all are or were either decent or pretty good in the NBA.

What are your standards for judging a pretty good player?

I don't know why you think Deng and Dunleavey are bad players. Luol Deng is averaging 14.1 ppg and Dunleavy is averaging 15.1 ppg. They are doing better than Mccants too so I'm not sure what standards you're judging them by.
