trapster is not 100% due to the fact some places prohibit use of cellphones while driving. bedsides how can they prove it. Some people like washington DC's Cathy L. Lanier think its a "cowardly act", its probably due to the fact that they make so much money off tickets.

Trapster has been out (and I've had it) on Blackberry for quite a while now, its possible that the other user in your area could have been using a GPS enabled BB.

I'm just happy that they share the same database, getting it into the app store gets a lot more exposure to the smartphone public. I've noticed the activity in my area growing since it came out. Also heard that in the first four days of it coming out 22,000 iphone users downloaded it!
