I first saw this film years ago on channel four, infact I didn't see the whole film I'd caught it half way through and had to go out before it ended,but a can still remember david thewlis arguing with a jock lad wi a nervous twtich, an asking him why he was giving it the highland fling all the time.I remember thinking to myself i must catch this film again sometime but forgot all about it untill now thanks for posting and thanks for the mammaries, now i know i,ve got the right film cheers.

Well, just about the whole movie is one long incredible monologue from Mr. Thewlis. But if I had to pick one highlight, it would be "The Moment forever morphing into the next/hence not really existing" rant at the security guard as he swipes the building's alarm system, to which Johnny responds in kind ... and so gives birth to yet another amazing train of thought. This is one of two movies that resonates profoundly with me; the other is Ravenous. RT 8—)

You can buy it on DVD on almost any internet store, like deepdiscountdvd or amazon...I got the Criterion 2-disc version for like $19 and I know someone who got the regular DVD for $10 a few weeks ago.

I saw this years ago,I`d almost forgoten how good it was. Does anybody out there remember a film with David Thewis and Steve Sweeny in it called Skullduggary?? I taped it off the telly in 1990 then lost it and have heard nothin of it since. It was about 4 young lads going out robbing and stuff. If anybody knows if you can buy it on DVD please tell me where.

Hands down one of the best films of all time. Incomparable to the trash being projectile vomited out of Hollywood these days. David Thewlis was robbed of an Oscar for this performance, it's a travesty.
