God I hate the "I'm better than you" attitude that BMW has. I'd much rather buy a Hyundai Genesis. More luxury, better safety, and still cheaper. The insides aren't flushed with fake metal and wood. God BMW is shit now.

"better safety" in what way? Cause of a crash rating? You're way safer in a BMW. Best braking, best maneuverability, best dsc, and best build quality you could have in a sedan. Sure, they're uglier now. But, they are very safe. The new 7 even has a nocturnal camera that will sense pedestrians down the road and display it on the iDrive.

I think they should put a straight 6 into the 1 series (higer reving more powerful then whats already there) and make an M1, then v8 in the M3, v10 in the M5 and M6. That just leaves a v12 to put in something...

i agree and disagree. no doubt an s class is the best. especially the s65 amg (dream car) but it is not the best coz there are better cars out there but the s class just has that speciall extra thing that no other car has thats why its so good. but then cars like the m3 which is in a completeely different class also has something special about it and in its own way is the best as well as the s class.

BMW already got 343hp (WITHOUT a turbo) from their 6cyl. Not much more you can do at that point except start the process over on the next size up.

Been watching a bit too much top gear? lol! You're right though the M3 is a far better car, Merc dont even offer a manual option for proper drivers. I hate autos, even the SMG and new twin clutch thing is a bit gay, if you cant drive properly dont get an M3! The C63 AMG is too underengineered, 6.2l, isn't even DOHC, no VVT, just a big lump, what a heap of crap, anyone can make a big V8.. america has been doing it for years. The V8 in the M3 is awsome, 8400rpm, but max torque at 3300rpm...amazing

True but its still a top end bias motor with disappointing torque numbers. Plus not only os physically big but its also heavy for its displacement. Regardless its still a pimp car but I still think the inline 6 belongs in the M3. The raspy sound of an E36 with exhaust is truly unique
