So were the towers...the story is "the planes & fire caused their collapse" to cover the demolitions. On 11th September 2001, London was one hour ahead of GMT.
(Thanks to edgeman for pointing this out) i.e. One hour ahead of standard time.
The transmission was 20 minutes prior to the "collapse" , and stating that the event had happened some short time ago. = @ 1 hour error.
