Don't worry about the moronic masses. They are doing what is natural to them. If you support the worst team in the land you would still sing songs of support for them. "By far the greatest team the world has ever seen"
This is the normalcy bias as they cannot see beyond their front doors. However things are becoming worse economically and it may arrive at their doors soon. Of course because they are not objective they wont be prepared. Good luck anyway. Nice video. Thank you
The responses I see on this video that r negative r shameful. Its,just like the Batman version wit the Jim Carrey as the,Riddler. We take what they feed us so they control what we believe
@fspilot221 Well, if you don't know much about it I would understand you being neutral. Myself, I would like to visit the country but it is hard to learn the DPRK dialect of Korean in the West though. I can mainly find the ROK dialect.
Are you entirely sure about that? There are a lot of people who try to cross the border into the North (usually to see family in the North) as for the Reciprocal being "painfully true" this is false. I ask you again, the defectors you constantly see, do they ever have passports? In documentaries they never show their faces! The same goes for the soldiers "abusing people" in Syria, easily, they could be paid actors! Call me ludicrous, but the claims against the DPRK, are more so.
Please excuse the yelling at my dog and few mistakes made in this video, I was very amateur at video editing this video was made before august. Let me take the time to cover a few new points about the DPRK:
Kim Jong Un is likely to come to power, because they need a strong General and the South is deploying troops near the border. In reality, elected party officials control things more than he does.
They hold elections and celebrations for elections.
The DPRK provides its people with both weapons and military training, but no Revolution. If the DPRK is so evil to its people, why do they give their people so much training and weapons to defend themselves with? Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il do not have a cult of personality, the DPRK wants to build a social strength around it's leaders, so that its people feel strong, and are not afraid of the United States.
i guess north korea are more towards nature unlike us city people have to deal with all humanities/societies. i guess north korea are more peaceful and quieter than city people... thats the one thing i like from there... maybe i will just move to north korea for few weeks, i might enjoy it.
I could never believe that Serb can be such an idiot like Atheism Central is. Unbelievable. Living in Europe and being at the same level like monkey from amazon...
I think he is too. But Kim Jong-un is a bit young and inexperienced, which even DPRK acknowledges. I think a coalitive regency between Kim Jong-il's closest allies in the Supreme Congress, like the finance minister, premier, the previous head of the NDC, Kim Jong-il's step-sister who is also a senior general, will be helping Kim Jong-un on his path to cultivating his leadership prowess.
"Jasper, shut up." Sorry, I know you already apologized for the interjection, but when you popped in with that, I couldn't help but laugh. Ok, your problem is the same as my problem. However, I am not gong to leave the realm of dismissal until I can see it myself. When I go to North Korea, and do not need to be chaperoned (Do I need to be chaperoned if I go to NK, or is that just western propaganda?) Then I will buy what you are saying, however, I feel like you are a bit absolutist in your claim
Westerners, you believe all this propaganda about North Korea WITHOUT EVIDENCE. Defectors with no passports, "Famines" you say the government made with no proof, "Gulags" you've never seen pictures of, claims that people have no internet WITHOUT EVIDENCE. Claims of monarchy (when they hold elections), and claims they worship Kim Jong Il and Kim Il sung when Korean Culture adores strong leaders! It is absolutely ridiculous! Open your eyes, or YOU are the brainwashed one and not I.
@AtheismCentral And what is your source to fundament youre beliefs? What you are saying is that the DPRK is not what the west wants us to see, do you honestly believe that life is much better then what the west shows us?
And why is it that North Koreans are not allowed to leave the country? They hired actors to chear for North Korea in the World Championship.
@AtheismCentral We Serbs from former Yugoslavia are one of the few who can understand what western propaganda can do with a beautiful country wich is not poisoned by the west.
@AtheismCentral It's pointless repeating facts. As a friend on another site quoted today, there's no armour against logic like ignorance. And these people who choose to believe the propaganda are selectively ignorant. They are the same sort who swallowed the rubbish about Saddam Husein's WMDs.
What a wonderful video this is! Now i know the truth about N. Korea. America is truely a evil capitalistic society! How I wish I was lucky enough to live in N.Korea !
There are a few things which must be pointed out. Yes, the DPRK does have a legislature, which is more of a rubber stamp committee, that is appointed as the people have no right to vote. There is freedom of speech, as long as said speech is speaking in favor of the government, this is laid out in the constitution. Children are taught songs and stories that glorify killing of Americans and other nationals. America is not perfect but I would choose freedom over North Korea or communism any day.
If everything is so great like you seem to think, how come journalists are strictly controlled as far as what they can see, where they can go & what they can film? How come so many die trying to get out? How come so many risk their lives to leave? Do they hate utopia? Have you seen the satellite photos of the north at night? It's black because they cant even run enough lights to be seen. Seriously,do you believe this BS? If you do,why don't you go there? They would love you for propaganda films.
Great video. I want to move to North Korea. Right now they are inventing new technology and developing new medicines for illnesses created by the capitalist system. North Koreans are always happy. The have comedy clubs in every town and the supermarkets are full of food. Anyone who believes the nonsense I just wrote deserves to live in the rural areas of NKorea.
Good video with good points. I am not bias here. NK has their propaganda and US has its own. They both work equally well to “fool” their own citizens.
@IBTMorimoto Yeah, that would be a somewhat 'sound' perspective to have. I think we can all agree that nothing is what it seems in our world. Unfortunately it's isn't a matter of "screw you your Nation is wrong" and so forth. It goes deeper than that.
Also @AtheismCentral Sorry for spamming your thread. Youtube doesn't have a big enough comment section.
thanks for the video, North Korea seems to be a lot different than what you see from western propaganda news channels. Seems that North Korea suffers like libya. Any country that does not have a privatized central banks is consider a 'rogue' state in western world.
I wonder is that boy still alive? Its very..... very rare someone from west to understand other countries, and tolerate other cultures. America and the rest of capitalist regimes are slavery to money and profit installed from Jewish. They create wars, displaced millions of innocent people......Bravo young boy. You are very smart.
@KofeIznasilovaniya Not every communism is the same.Watch ''TRUTH about ex Yugoslavia'' here on Tube ( 2 hours long documentary) and you will see how we lived in those beautiful time. Now we are slaves of bankers...
the U.S, might give propaganda but it doesn't force it on you. the difference is if you published a pro american video in north korea you'd be killed. If you post this video in america you are treated like a regular citizen
I agree with a lot of things said in this documentary. I live in America and find life to be very harsh. capitalism treats people very differently. I have difficult time paying the sky high rent in new York city for a small apartment with my younger brother having no room. for lack of support my school work suffered a great deal. I don't think I will ever have a decent life in America ever, let alone retirement. I fell for the propaganda that America was the land of opportunities. it’s a trap.
I wonder what the korean-russian border is like, because i wonder why i don't hear much about that as a crossing point. is it extremely guarded or is it not a common thought for north koreans.
If your traveling with the KFA, you need a guide. If you take certain actions beforehand you can go alone. You travel out of Pyongyang, of course, such as the buddhist temples and etc out of Pyongyang in the countryside, as well as the vinyards.
In the DPRK, you can go to these three countries: Japan, Russia, and China, and they will continue to send you the monthly socialist pay you would get in the Country. If a DPRK citizen goes to America, the DPRK will not send them money because the US would not allow it, and either way North Korean Wan is worth next to nothing in America.
Sadly for you, you are not the leader of north korea and you are not living in north korea. So even thow, you try to spam everyone who doesn't think like you, we still have the freedom of thinking and the freedom of speach.
@zwiiyt But actually I am going to flip flop here and saying that in its original roots as an agrarian democracy USA was fantastic, but now neonazis have taken over. Civil liberties are gone, and the gov't just wants to keep going to war. It pisses me off beyond reason. Obama is a fucking traitor
@zwiiyt Interesting that when I try to make a neutral objective comment, that you twist it around to knocking America. I don't trust the media for sure, and really don't know much about North Korea, that is why I am watching this video as well as many others to try and judge the situation as objectively as I can without going there.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. God damn it Jasper!
This was something I needed to watch today.
I have noted a disctict vivid character assassination applied to anyone who won't play ball with Israel and Zionist policies. This video confirms my suspicion that Kim Jung Il struggles with the zionists who expoit the ignorance and ego of those who are unaware of who really runs the US and for that matter almost the world.
What North Korea is doing, not allowing western media and internet access on their country is smart. I mean look how fuk'd up America is with all their stupid reality shows on TV brainwashing the future generation. There's even a show called "Teen Moms" that makes America look really sad...
The thing about North Korea, is that nobody that isn't from there can possibly know what it's like. Whether good or bad. That being said, you can't conclude that the place isn't as bad as we believe based on misinterpreted interviews and propaganda videos. There are indications; However. One indication: propaganda videos. Seriously, any nation who sinks money into widely distributed propaganda has issues. Another indication: 3,000 defectors every year. Nobody risks their lives to try and esca
this is a really cool video. people so easily judge other systems and other countries, so easily believe what they are told by media, never taking the effort to research online (since most don't have the resources to go see for themselves). as a result of complying to brainwashing without questioning, capitalists tend to judge violently and aggressively. that said, i believe that all people of the world are programmed, not excluding north korea....
hmmm yah. I wiki'ed Kim Yong-Nam just now, I notice how he travels around the world. I think i like that abt him. he can defend dprk image abroad and strengthen alliances. but of course ill support whoever the korean workers through their party choose.
Did I mention I was a Gymnast? I trained with "defectors" from North Korea. I am not ignorant and I don't agree with our involvement in the war. I do agree that we most likely created more problems then we tried to solve. I cannot judge them as a whole for they are ignorant to the outside world. My point is that the one truth I know to be true depicted in that documentary is that hate for America is taught and encouraged and nothing good comes from hate.
The sad part is, the girl's criticisms of America are right. Americans' criticisms of Kim Jong Il are right too.
It is true a lot of Americans waste time criticizing foreign countries, and invading them. There is a witch-hunting and lynch-mobbing culture in the U.S. that goes way back, blaming others for our problems.
Yes, The North Korean regime can sometimes do mistakes.
Yes, It is not a perfect Paradise without bad sides.
But, the fact is, that if you want to understand this country, you have to keep in mind that it is a completly different culture from ours. Its is a completly different state of mind. And you have to respect it.
North Koreans doesn't want us to live like them. Why would they have to live like us so ?
@AtheismCentral 5)The Koreans are as as the Vietnamese love their independence and freedom would not have tolerated outside interference in their affairs of state from China or the Soviet Union. Do to a superpower America and the Cold War they the North Koreans had to compromise and side with China and Soviet Union and let them have a say it their dispute with the U.S.;Korea and Vietnam are similar, in that the US did not want the superpower, the soviet Union to dominate Korea.
@AtheismCentral McNamara ,He was secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense 1961–68 who conducted the Vietnam war said that the Vietnam war was a mistake , do to that America did not understand the Vietnamese and their history , and thought that the Vietnamese would be dominated by the Chinese and the US did not want that to happen . But he said that ( in his book) He realize that the Vietnamese would not have given in to Chinese dominance . And the Vietnamese proved it.
@AtheismCentral Regrettable it was a mistake the war ; but understandable , that a proud people would want to unify their nation as it was before they lost their nation. After the War ( Korean War ) stagnated and a armistices signed they the Koreans found them self deeper in the Cold War then before .Turned to their determination for unification to dispassionate strict discipline so as to overcome a superpower that they see as a hindrance to their union .
@AtheismCentral The Koreans before WW2 and Japanese invasion had a proud 2000 year history under their kind of government and freedom and culture uninterrupted in that 2000 years to just before until WW2. They lost their independence to the Japanese and later to the Cold War ; and were divided, lost their nation to the Cold War.Tried to unify their nation as it was before the Japanese invasion. The Cold War did not permit their self determination to flourish so they did hasty thing. A war.
Thank you so much for setting the record straight about the open democracy known as the People's Democratic Republic Of North Korea. I had so many false impressions about that country. It is good to know the people there have it so good compared to their brothers and sisters to the south I'm sure they have a hard time in stopping people from South Korea at their border since they are so free and affluent. I even thought that they started the Korean war by invading the south. How stupid of me.
I liked it comrade, even though i am critical of some things in DPRK, The western media is spreading misinformation about the country and they don't look at the structure and culture in a objective viewpoint. (And the outburst 9:57 didn't mind me, it was actually pretty funny, Jasper SHUT UP! ;))
perhaps we can't see what real life is... perhaps the DPRK is real life.. peace unitense, fair sharing... instaid of american propoganda, taxes, bad economies, so called "freedom" but were exualy slaves of our goverment..... LONG LIVE SOCIALISM!
We proletarians have really nothing to lose but our chains. We have a world to win! Working men of the world unite! Capitalist developments damages human life & natural environmental poisoning rivers to name but one! LONG LIVE DPRK!!! DOWN WITH US IMPERIALISM!!!! DEATH TO CAPITALISTS!!!!!!
Cool, tell us how North Korea is when you get back. It would be very interesting to know how North Korea really is without the media distorting things.
Although this is a great video, I did find an inaccuracy as it was stated that George W. Bush came to power after his father. George H.W. Bush was President from 1988-1992, Bill Clinton was President from 1992 to 2001 and George W. Bush was President from 2001-2009.
For a long time i believed north Korea was an evil empire, but now you have just shown the other side of North Korea, its a lot better than what the West thinks :D. Thank you!
A most informational video, comrade. A shame that so many people press the "dislike" button. Such ignorance cannot be tolerated. Juche and Songun work well in the DPRK. 만세!
@AtheismCentral I never said the "death camps" were real or anything the other guy said, the media make North Korea sound like the worst place in the world they refuse to tell the truth. I support North Korea and communism, but we know no country is prefect .
good video it is very true keep them up my freind FOR THE PEOPLE OPEN THESE CAPATIALIST FASCIST BASTRD DOGS WHO DONT OPEN THIR EYES TO HELL KEEP EM UP UR AWESOME IM BEHIND U ALL THE WAY
To all people who are commenting here, both DPRK supporters and DPRK foes, i´d like to leave an important message:
—We are all in the same boat. Though we can´t be all equal, we can, at least, listen to each other, without exchanging insults, or making unfounded accusations. We need to talk about things like MONEY and INTERNET. Both these, are being used as instruments of repression, by those behind the World GLOBALIZATION project. See "Money As Debt (1 of 5) on YouTube".
I would like that the video sound, at 15:45, with that young man talking, should come out a little higher; maybe it was set too low, or the microphone too far away!
—I´d like to listen to his words, and I can´t, properly.
It seems u agree in some sort of socialist issue, all im saying their are factors that need to reconsider besides in political aspect, like economic conditions of dprk, without foreign relief they already suffered by famine. Get it? U too please open ur mind.the world is not static and thus rotating and changing.
north korea is the remnants of ussr russians, but russia has grown up realize that in order to survive, they must adjust to the struggle of the needs of the people in economic area, not in politics, korea should adjust too, not by changing the type of government, but by opening their mind to the rest of the world without harming their culture, north korea can protect their culture but not by force, but by understanding the changes outside their country.
@AtheismCentral The time is coming. It took 2000 years to discover that the Earth is spherical, it took many years for people to realize that capitalism fucks with everything around it and when there's nothing more to fuck, they fuck themselves.
@AtheismCentral I know I do, very much. Das Kapital is becoming a best seller. I made a DDR Video on my page, and it's very popular in Germany. The US Propaganda says Germans hate Marxism, but it's Propaganda. In fact, it may be the only way to save Germany from the collapse of the Monetary system in Europe.
I can't say I agree with Songun, (I believe in another form of Communism) but I agree about how DPRK isn't quite all what the US likes to say and does have it's ups and down.
@AtheismCentral I thought it was cool with Orchestra's in Asia playing music with the fashion of European music and the instrumentation of Asian music .
I FUCKING HATE COLD WAR PROPAGANDA,AND IT'S CREATORS! -.- And I get judged because almost everybody, even my own parents are ignorant as fuck. Aiden, thank you for doing us a public service! Instead of vacationing to Japan,or American,I shall see if I can visit North Korea,or China.
Do a video about why you think North Korea is democratic, that is my biggest beef. I like that Hitler gave his subjects places to leave for free or at a cheap piece. I hate the Holocaust....
Even more pathetic than the conservatives and reactionaries who continually bash North Korea are the liberal-types who keep using North Korea as a touchstone when talking about poverty, oppression, or totalitarianism. They are all part of the same capitalist disease.
Don't worry about the moronic masses. They are doing what is natural to them. If you support the worst team in the land you would still sing songs of support for them. "By far the greatest team the world has ever seen"

North Korea is an Atheist Marxist State and what the uploader is doing is trying to disprove that NK is an atheist state.
The uploader wants people to believe that ALL atheists are peaceful.
Not all of them are, just like not all religious are peaceful either.

"Defectors pursued by guards"? Explain?
In the DPRK, you can go to these three countries: Japan, Russia, and China, and they will continue to send you the monthly socialist pay you would get in the Country. If a DPRK citizen goes to America, the DPRK will not send them money because the US would not allow it, and either way North Korean Wan is worth next to nothing in America.

buzzhawk 2 months ago
@zwiiyt But actually I am going to flip flop here and saying that in its original roots as an agrarian democracy USA was fantastic, but now neonazis have taken over. Civil liberties are gone, and the gov't just wants to keep going to war. It pisses me off beyond reason. Obama is a fucking traitor
geoharmonic 2 months ago
@zwiiyt Interesting that when I try to make a neutral objective comment, that you twist it around to knocking America. I don't trust the media for sure, and really don't know much about North Korea, that is why I am watching this video as well as many others to try and judge the situation as objectively as I can without going there.

Yes, North Korea is not a perfect country.

Do to a superpower America and the Cold War they the North Koreans had to compromise and side with China and Soviet Union and let them have a say it their dispute with the U.S.;Korea and Vietnam are similar, in that the US did not want the superpower, the soviet Union to dominate Korea.
korz53 4 months ago
@AtheismCentral McNamara ,He was secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense 1961–68 who conducted the Vietnam war said that the Vietnam war was a mistake , do to that America did not understand the Vietnamese and their history , and thought that the Vietnamese would be dominated by the Chinese and the US did not want that to happen . But he said that ( in his book) He realize that the Vietnamese would not have given in to Chinese dominance . And the Vietnamese proved it.
korz53 4 months ago
@AtheismCentral Regrettable it was a mistake the war ; but understandable , that a proud people would want to unify their nation as it was before they lost their nation. After the War ( Korean War ) stagnated and a armistices signed they the Koreans found them self deeper in the Cold War then before .Turned to their determination for unification to dispassionate strict discipline so as to overcome a superpower that they see as a hindrance to their union .
korz53 4 months ago

Just one more comment:
To all people who are commenting here, both DPRK supporters and DPRK foes, i´d like to leave an important message:
—We are all in the same boat. Though we can´t be all equal, we can, at least, listen to each other, without exchanging insults, or making unfounded accusations. We need to talk about things like MONEY and INTERNET. Both these, are being used as instruments of repression, by those behind the World GLOBALIZATION project. See "Money As Debt (1 of 5) on YouTube".
jsnovais1000 6 months ago
I would like that the video sound, at 15:45, with that young man talking, should come out a little higher; maybe it was set too low, or the microphone too far away!
—I´d like to listen to his words, and I can´t, properly.
Thank you.

It seems u agree in some sort of socialist issue, all im saying their are factors that need to reconsider besides in political aspect, like economic conditions of dprk, without foreign relief they already suffered by famine. Get it? U too please open ur mind.the world is not static and thus rotating and changing.
devilcruiser 6 months ago
north korea is the remnants of ussr russians, but russia has grown up realize that in order to survive, they must adjust to the struggle of the needs of the people in economic area, not in politics, korea should adjust too, not by changing the type of government, but by opening their mind to the rest of the world without harming their culture, north korea can protect their culture but not by force, but by understanding the changes outside their country.

@AtheismCentral The time is coming. It took 2000 years to discover that the Earth is spherical, it took many years for people to realize that capitalism fucks with everything around it and when there's nothing more to fuck, they fuck themselves.
