Actually there are a few. I have a few videos of Sopor Aeternus who since quite a few of Poe's poems, such as Dreamland, The Sleeper, and Conqueror Worm (all three of which is on my youtube). Also Omnia does a version of The Raven (also on my youtube). Check them out if you like!
I sang this song while reading edgar allen poe in a the cemetery where my family is buried. So surreal... yet calming. I love the raw insane side of Voltaire, but his songs like this.... they hit it home for me.
I really don't think it is necessary to have 'Music' written during the instrumental, because the whole song is music. Also, this song follows a typical 'Verse chorus' song form and is relatively predictable in regards to when the vocals will and will not be singing, so overall it's rather superfluous and ambiguous.
I use to do this to all my videos (In my more recent ones, I'm not sure if I have done it or not). It is basically just a way to fill the screen as the music plays. Sorry you don't like it.
Voltaire is...well he should really be his own genre. He's great to listen to (if you have a sense of humor, though he has his serious songs as well). Thanks for listening. I should be putting up more Poe based songs later when I have time. I know there are a few more Sopor songs by Poe. I also want to do the Jabberwocky by Omnia, etc...It is simply finding the time to make them all.
Love the background

The first time I heard this song, I took my copy of the Complete Works of Poe, went to my nana's grave, and read the whole night. So peaceful...
