  • What Sestak did or didn't do, he was IN THE MILITARY FOR YEARS! Specter served 0 time, believe me!Kerry should have ran many ads like this against bushie & the swift-boaters! Bush hid out in alabama & texas while Kerry was in Nam! Get real you assholes!

  • I agree with you "ducdebarbant" and will follow your veterans for common sense and do as you did> I also like a "thrift" ad idea, save a few bucks and still keep the message real. Pittsburgh Veterans to Johnstown are with you Admiral! As are the Seniors, the disabled, the blue-collar and green collar working & returning vets in our group as our poll indicated at alumnidotveteransdotorg

  • Today I sent this to the DSCC: To my horror, I discover that you are spending MY MONEY TO SUPPORT ARLEN SPECTER. I will now contribute to Sestak to try to redress the harm I've unwittingly done. You are helping underwrite scurrilous ads attacking Sestak's military record (even if you don't pay for them directly, in subsidizing Specter's other ads you free his money to air them). This is swiftboating. Please don't approach me for money again.

  • As for the ad, it's a tired rehash. 4 years later, Joe should have more to run on than whining about being attacked. Joe didn't even have the respect to stand with his latest crop of political props in the ad, as he takes advantage of their service for his political ends.

  • Joe was allowed to retire (at two stars). That doesn't not change the fact that Admiral Mullen swiftly removed Joe as DCNO within his first day. Bill is Joe's employee. Fact. Congress is part of the Federal government. Joe, as a member of congress is a member of the Federal government, and his salary, office and employees are paid out of Federal dollars. Fact.

  • Bill Walsh is not a Federal Employee. No matter when the add was filmed--the truth is the truth, Joe Sestak "retired" that is what you can do when you serve 30+ years. Remember we are all entitled to our opinions--but we are not entitled to make up facts to suit our own misguided purposes.

  • Great ad, Admiral!

  • This ad is a nearly word-for-word remake of Joe's 2006 ad.

The end of this ad, where Joe "approves", is actually a clip from the original. You can see the lighting change from overcast to sunlight.

This means that Joe was AWOL from the new ad and didn't have the decency to stand with the men, who he is using a political prop.

  • OK, but why was Sestak relieved of duty?

Guess Joe doesn't want to talk about truth.

Nice way to hide behind loyal service men and women, Joe.

  • Federal employ Bill Walsh is clearly seen in the video. Has he ever heard of the Hatch Act which prohibits Federal Employees from participating in partisan political activities?
