@reply4reply my dell latitude d620 laptop has a display problem, my screen comes fuzzy and can't be able to read the words. I have the nvidia quadro nvs 110m. What is the problem please answer
@zombieapocalypse561 Did you try plugging in another monitor to your laptop in order to rule out the adapter or drivers. Or go to device manager and try rolling back the display adapter drivers. Also your resolution may be too high
@trumpet444 But with YouTube AudioSwap you can choose this song for your video. YouTube shouldn't band videos with 009 Sound System, they should just remove the artist from their AudioSwap library.
This is impressive but i as a customer i imagine in most cases its cheaper just to buy a new laptop. Also if you have hands steady enough to do this kind of work you would need to save up enough so you can retire at 40 or 50 +that you probably have to stay of drugs.
@reply4reply is it possible to reball with a heatgun instead of a rework station and what are the percentages of success please answer. well i know it is possible just when getting it back on the board what do you have to do ?
how to recognize that whther ur gpu chip is burned or some other thing i have nx8800gt and when i starts it it gives artifacts all over the screen i gave it to repair to someone he told me that i change its transistr ur cards starts giving display for almost 15 minutes but then again comes artifacts tell me what should i do ????????thanks
@coldlmy1 well its not actually that hard if you know what you are doing and just make sure you get all the solder balls on the chip b4 taking the alignment plate off or then u gotta be calm
@Mooseguy15 I agree on the calm part !i listen to some music while doing stuff like that! and try not to think about it too much i did before and i had to reball everything from 0 so just put the damn thing and do it!
If they would have used same kind of sockets to attach the GPU to motherboard like CPUs we wouldn't have these problems now... Btw. does anyone know what size BALLs Geforce 8400m chip uses? Have been thinking of trying to reball faulty GPU as there's nothing to lose and the laptop is scrap metal anyway...
@YouStubid Older BGA didn't do this, only seems since the ROHS rules banning lead in solder that we have problems with BGA., Too britle without the lead.

a question for the Gpu defect that had to be the problem of corruption image (vertical lines that fill the screen) graphics cards I have a nvidia geforce gt 512 with 85000 can repair that problem as well?
This looks like a great thing to get skilled at. I'd greatly appreciate it if somebody could point me in the right direction toward learning how to do this sort of thing.
@reply4reply thanks for the great tutorial, i am having one issue though, i got the video chip off, cleaned it well, but the motherboard cleaning did not go as planned, when i wicked it, i got a few missing solder points (black holes), & remembered someone telling me that it renders the mobo unusable, is this true? & what is the max temp celsius you would recommend in the removal & refit process?
@reply4reply where do you get those clamp deals with the screen to apply a single ball to each pad? I'm at a loss as to where people find those things. I wanna start reballing xbox 360's and without one I'd be stuck trying to do it by hand putting solder on each contact.
what material did you use for making balls ? i dont understand this process ?

Why don't they make sockets for gpu's just like they have for cpu's?

@trueblu8 want to cheapen it even more so no gold filled wires for pins. I think personally BGA should be banned.

Nice job!
I'd recommend to use pointy tweezers to place the ball instead of a needle.
Or the vacuum tweezers I use in my video, but without the rubber tip.
What do you do to prevent the ball from being blown away when the flux melts?
