Whoa is that the TIU unit in the gondola?????? How'd ya do that??????? Like to see how as I want to convert mine to battery so I can run on my outdoor layout. Not good enough conductivity to run track power!!! Is it easy hard???? Regal

Hi Jerry,
Yes, well spotted!
The TIU is taken out of its case, and fed from 3 7.2v RC battery packs inside the gondola.
Mine is just a temporary hack job - others have fitted the uncased TIU and batteries into trailing boxcars.
The loco itself needed a little rewiring to be able to switch between track and RC power.
