When sam mentions to ginger "what about your sister's feelings" I think it made it obvious that he knew brigitte liked him. And the fact that he yells to brigitte "No!" when she cuts her hand and is about to mix blood with ginger makes it obvious he cares for her.
i know have a new respect for B&G's mom. granted, everyone will now think she's psycho, but thats beside the point... kinda. lol, i love Ginger Snaps!!!!
Several of these scenes were important to building the side characters. It is a good movie with out them, but would have been better with them. The one earlier explains where the father was during the finale, this explains where the mother went and really... was kinda redeeming for her. Taking the fall for some one like that is only something a truly loving mother would do.
