Hi great work with your gauges ! I'm planing to do the same thing to my bike , but I have an f2 600 . I got the sprocket cover with the sensor on it . I need the gauges ,Speedohealer and the temperature sensor any tips in how to wire up the last two?
Its a different one than my 98. I am in the process of doing this mod. The f3's sensor is around 460 ohms at room temp and the other is around 43'000 at room temp. Cross my fingers that it works.
f3's yellow/black wire connects to f4i's white/blue wire AND NOT it's green/white wire in order to have the "FI" light work as a FUNCTIONAL kick stand indicator!!
hi, i know you did the mod a year ago but i've just found the video clip. Please tell me how i can do this. What do i need, how do i wire it up? Thanks a lot. IT really looks tight! My bike's gotta have this
Nice... Ive seen this on the cbr forum w/ a tutorial along w/ it. Looks easy! I want my bike to be treated to this mod, but I cant force myself to drop $200 on the guages... Cool though!
I got a cbr 600 f4. I want to upgrade my guages to f4i guages as well... what would i need to do

The 900RR is a digital sensor and the F3 is a anti-log sensor.

I did the swap, 98-99 900rr temp switch is the same part number as the F3, how would it sort the temp out if they are identical part numbers?

what did you cut the shape out to match? I just bought my gauges off ebay a few weeks ago and I'm gonna do this mod in a few weeks!

I guess ur talking about the gauge mount? I used a electric jig saw with a metal cutting blade and a air grinder
CBR600F3ROX 4 years ago
well on average they go for 80-90 so i guess you bought really crappy gauges or got very lucky
For a mount I bought a peace of 10 gauge aluminum and cut it to shape

Funny... I just picked up some gauges off ebay for $37!!!!! I was wondering how you mounted them?
