I think the US traffic police are a bit too aggressive - there were at least two instances in that video where the police might have shunted the speeder into innocents. First at the bridge, where it could have gone over the rails onto traffic below. Second where it was shunted across the grass verge onto other lanes.

US traffic police need to use more technology, like spike mats, i.e. more brain and less brawn.
