theres no point in having an 8GB. only get the if your going short term with your touch. i got my 32GB ipod touch like 3 weeks ago and ive already filled up about 15GB of the memory. and the 64GB? well only get the 64GB if you have more than 100 apps, 5000+ songs, and atleast 5 movies on ur itunes library cuz 64GB is ALOT. thats like almost as much memory as my PS3 lol...

i got a 32gb one. i thinks its all u need, i mean its got 50% faster processor then the 8gb, WAY more space (40,000 photos, 20 hours of video, more then 7,000 songs...+ the apps!)

well idk apple just made it so that the 32gb and 64gbhave a 50% processor speed increase, but i honestly don't think its that big of a diff. i got a 32gb because it was the best deal on black friday, but 8gb is lik fine. Thers lik wht 4 seconds longer when u launch a app, no1 rly cares tht much =) 8 gb 32gb 64gb...only a matter of how much u want on it. all my friends got a 8 gb and they say its pretty hard to fill. u just empty it when its filled.

1: I saw a iPod Touch 2G (16GB) and a iPod Touch 3G (32GB) for the same price. Why? 32GB is more than 16GB, and 3G is better than 2G, right?

2: Is the iPod Touch 3G (8GB) EXACTLY the same as iPod Touch 2G (16GB)? Besides the GB.

3: Why is iPod Touch 2G (16GB) more expensive than iPod Touch 3G (8GB)?

When they came out with the third gen., they got rid of the 16GB and replaced it with the 32GB and added the 64GB. So if you are gonna buy a 16GB, don't. You can get a 32GB for the same price. Also, 16GBs are second generation which means they have slower processing. The processing speed is the only real difference between the 2nd and 3rd gen. iTouches.

I just read a post in gizmodo with an interview with Steve jobs. Steve said that they didn't know how to market the iPod touch, was it an iPhone with no phone, a portable computer device, or a gaming machine??? Most consumers thought of it as a gaming device so that's what the iPod touch is becoming!

I think Apple has secretly made this as a gaming eccentric devise, but call it an iPod Touch to try get under the radar of Sony's PsP and Nintendo's Gameboy.
