  • @renerdrat It's a very illegal drug and MDMA is almost always cut with extremely harmful substances. MDMA itself could have a therapeutic use in intervention with extreme cases of depression and suicidal behaviour, but it is a foolish substance to use without medical supervision as excessive use/improper dosage can permanently alter your body's own dopamine output.

  • No phytoestrogens in cannabis can survive combustion. Also, cannabis does not increase brain concentrations of dopamine or increase dopamine production. It does, however, precipitate a release of dopamine in the nucleus accumbens. Therefore, it is unlikely that Cannabis has any effect on dopamine levels: again, THC does not stimulate the production of dopamine, it only causes a release of the dopamine already held within the vesicles of the nucleus accumbens. That's why there's NO WITHDRAWAL.

    Can you recommend anything for someone who has smoked marijuana long term in the past? What would be good to get the dopamine and seratonin receptors up to snuff. I just started Catuaba bark yesterday to increase libido/get more of a dopamine release. I've been doing many tonics for awhile and have definitely had great changes.It seems like before I started smoking I was more grounded, able to relax easier, and had more drive to do things.

  • @TheCaseyInman Mucuna Pruriens is an amazing herb for this. It contains L-dopa, the direct precursor to dopamine.

  • @127miles Any benefits that it could potentially provide are reproducible by other lifestyle factors. Marijuana has clear negative side effects that are undesirable and should be avoided.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Marijuana has no negative effects at all, if you think so it's because some people are afraid of getting in touch with their spirit and the universe.without weed, we start taking Advil to calm our stress and were always uptight, if you smoke weed without nicotine, you wont crave it everyday.

    people run away from marijuana because it's illegal and the reason why its illegal it's because the government don't want us open minded, they want us to kill our body with cigs&liquor

  • @KnowledgeNeverDie You could not be any more wrong on that. While I am not against the use of marijuana in any way and strongly believe in its legalization, it still has negative effects. To use marijuana once in a blue moon with clear intent and purpose for your smoke, would be using this plant in the most positive way. However, most people end up smoking it every day, or every weekend, and abusing it. The legality of marijuana has NOTHING to do with the gov't and your mind.

  • I was at the health food and herb co. store here in sf and they have what's called shaman cigs. individually wrapped in a small bag, for healthy euphoria. I tried them and love them, very clean, relaxing and balances me out. It smells like tea and has a blend of shaman herbs that were hand wrapped. Marijuana and tabaco are horrible. Lovin your vids man.

    i have had no negative effects in all the yrs i have smoked it and there are 0 deaths from smoking weed.It has numerous uses ,all of them positive!

  • what about hemp seeds? Are they estrogenic?

  • @keithlmh All seeds and nuts are estrogenic to a certain degree as they are literally the "womb" of the plant, about to give birth (whereas the pollen of the plant is the semen or true seed). However some are more than others and hemp seed is not that high. It has been used as a food in China for several thousand years and they considered it one of their 5 staple grains!

  • Re. Food Sensitivity. Will an 80% raw vegan diet make your body stronger and more able to fight off the odd junk food now and then or more sensitive and weaker when faced with the random piece of junk one may indulge in?

  • @lainnorcal It's hard to make recommendations without knowing your specific nutritional needs and constitution. Of what I do recommend, they're always whole food based or in terms of herbs, always tonic herbs (meaning they don't have cumulative toxic effects after long term usage).

  • @SecretsOfLongevity well i need to quit smoking... i also have a blood disorder (I.T.P) and my job is pretty strenuous so i do use energy drinks pretty much everyday coupled with coffee and sodas... so yeah i need to change my habits pretty bad.

    well before I was a raw foodist it use to be ok sometimes, but now if I do it I go through what feels like a full blown psychedelic trip. And its not as therapeutic as things like mushrooms at the same time, but the trip is much more intense in a bad way.
