Was it me or did Pizza Hut taste better in the 80's and early 90's? I know I cannot be alone on this. They would bring out a pitcher of soda and you would pour it into those dark, red, bumpy glasses. They had a jukebox with 80's and early 90's music. They had a Donkey Kong arcade game in the game area. People were smoking freely. The US was still a tolerable place to live.

I think I like the MTV ads the best, they're just so... weird, back when MTV was still cool. There was a lot of weird stuff on the tube when we were growing up. Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, The Head, Aeon Flux, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, and all those cheezy gameshows, like Legends of the Hidden Temple, What would you do?, Wild and Crazy Kids, where the prizes were as bad as Ring Pops or Skip-It. Ah, memories.

All but the Pizza Hut one are from MTV, from the early 90's. The Pizza Hut one is on a VHS copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I have, from around the same time period. We recently discovered we have a few more tapes with more commercials, including the full version of the Dr. Mario one (which is cut off on this version), I may post that some time too!
