Incredible. Heartbreakingly beautiful. I have just discovered you and was very impressed by your playing in some other videos, but this is the only one I've found so far where I could hear your singing well - your voice and the emotion you put into this are very powerful, devastating in fact.

In the other videos it seems like the mic is poorly placed to pick up your voice. That is a crime because, at least with the right song, no one can touch you. Thanks for this - you broke my heart.

When I was a young boy, I lived in a huge trailer, with my mum and dad, on a bayou in Choctawhatchee Bay. What's an English boy, in 1962, doing in FLA ? Well, think Eglin AFB, Cuba and you might guess. Anyhow, this led me to find Mean Mary via Youtube and wow! What a find. Have a look at her other vids...great folksinger.
