her annunciation is the best on here.....Kathleen Battle slurs so badly. I thought Kathleen was great until I went back to hear her again with earphones...Kathleen actually scoops too much and slurs....Renee Fleming and Celia B are better to hear technique from. I appreciate you posting this on here! lovely voice! -I think I'm the only one on the planet that is not singing this in the key of C...My song is in Db.

I sang this for my Gr. 8 too. I think she has good vocal techniques but did not understand the song well. If she really understands what's the meaning of 'Agnus Dei qui tollis peccata mundi miserere nobis', should be slow down the tempo and should not be with that kind of joyous expression when singing. I like the one on youtube which the Soprano was singing in the Mass, that's the right way in expressing the lyric.
