It's about boixing and it keeps pretty real, no energy beams coming of nobody hands. There is "Hokuto No Ken" too, but this anime is out of league, even though I've never watched, the anime which basically created this genre can't be bad.

At the very least, it's undeniable that Yu Yu Hakusho started a season, got to the point, covered the arc in depth, and concluded, immediately starting the next season. No fillers.

I enjoyed (opinion) the fact that fight scenes didn't take as long (factual comparison). When characters were brought back or kept from dieing, there were reasons.

Yu Yu Hakusho IS better than Naruto, even in 2011. ^_~ Yu Yu Hakusho did have "sick powers" and of course classic fighting scenes, which in my opinion is better than Naruto's way of handling. DBZ and Naruto are equally alike in the fact they drag out forever, and almost the same thing happens. Yu Yu Hakusho was short, sweet and to the point.

YYH is AMAZING. That's all I can say about it. It has to be one of my favorite animes of all time. YYH is an old-ish anime and the animation isn't the best, but it makes up for it with the memories it creates. The amazing characters always seem to stick to you, to the point that when you're watching it, you're screaming at your screen telling them to win. To the point that when you think they are about to die (or they did die) you start watering up. YYH stays with you, Forever fornever.
