I love how this beautiful little village has such a lighthearted atmosphere...We get to see all the scenes showing the characters mingling with the villagers, and giving more insight into their unique personalities. I love watching Vivi's curiosity, Garnet's fascination with the world outside of the castle, and watching Steiner be a babbling idiot. And I love how by the end of the village, the whole mood changes, and we get some less lighthearted plot development. This game is a masterpiece!

How do you do L2 or R2 with your SNES controller? That's why I use a PS2 controller instead, as it's also fully usable for SNES games (and N64 if you are creative with button assignment).

I'm not sure if you know this or not, but after you watch the first ATE that shows Dagger with the woman in the garden, you can go back into the room with the beds and walk back out to have another ATE with Dagger in the shop trying to learn how to speak like a normal village girl. And after that, you can walk into the shop with Zidane and have an extra scene with those two.

Also, from the description --- FFXIII has limited to no towns/ cities/ etc. whatsoever and is streamlined from point A to point B 95% of the time (the only exploring I remember doing was when I hit the Central Expanse 4/5's of the way in). Why do you like XIII so much then (coming off your Demo)?

@MrSteveHazzard He is 16. In terms of age it goes Cloud, Bartz/Cecil (not including the sequel), Ashe, Terra, Squall/Tidus, Zidane, Onion Knight/Luneth whatever you wish to call him.

Firion, I'm not sure of though he may be with Bartz and Cecil and the Warrior of Light hasn't been given an age to my knowledge. And I don't know Lightning's age so I didn't include her. So Zidane is one of the youngest protagonists so far in the main final fantasy series.
