@videovaultault Its a lot of fun I take my scanner with me everyplace,the mall,parades, public events, the car race track Seafair is coming up in August and thats a radio nightmare so much to listen to, need at least 5 or 6 scanners
@videovaultault The frequencies that the police transmist on are public frequencies. It is not illegal to listen to police. But,if you are caught with a scanner in Louisiana while commiting a crime,they can add extra charges.You asked me why i listen to the police? There's alot of crime where i live at. Just down the block from me. I always see police cars on the next block. I live in Jefferson parish. If you watch Steven Segal's lawman,you will see some of the things that go on around here.
@midnightcaller200 It depends on teh trunking scanner you have. They are all programed diff ways. And you can google your scanner and find online manuals that show you how to program it.
@videovaultault It is a fun hobby and very legal, all information for frequencies is listed on the FCC website as public information.
