i'm a white guy from england---back in 1989 i went to the new orleans jazz and blues heritage festival ---besides the fairgrounds concerts we went to the seager theater show which had non other than al green,staples singers,zion harmonisers,and also be be and ce ce---this song was so outstanding its untrue---this song along with the delivery is a masterpiece--i still have my ticket stubb and this is a treausured moment in my life.
