The 9520 is GSM / UMTS only, the 9550 is GSM / UMTS / CDMA for the US market. You wouldn't need the 9550 outside of the USA really. Looks like it will be tied in with a contract, so you'll just have to go with whatever your local Vodafone affiliate has.
