  • thats not vstrom vs varadero... thumbs down...

  • stupid driver

  • tires are everything

  • did Paco die?

  • AAAAAAA Holes

  • The guy asking me abotu eth Varadero vs Vstrom. The answer to your question is simple. Try the m both. Go out of rides and simply try them. The onethat feels better to you is the one you shouild buy.

Also try to remember that neither are really meant for pure off road use without heavy modification. These are touring bikes! Sure mild dirt roads are included in that, but they are not motorcross bikes. If you want to pure motorcross bike, take teh KTM 990 Adventure!

    2003 Honda Varadero

  • That's how the earthquake in New Zealand started

  • OMG that bike is nearly 300kg havy.

  • goodbye Paco

  • drive in snow it's very slippery and hard... if you ride first time in snow: you'll fall

  • hahahahahahaha gourd !

  • jajajajaajja...

  • @goldwing1964 It's not much better, actually it's not better: it's heavier and the V-Strom 1000 engine is more sport like. Further than that, not very different.

  • "I'm gonna make it, I'm gonna make it... I'm gonna *splat*"

Don't get me wrong, I hate to see a downed bike. But it's still funny.

  • a BIG lol

Experiencia.

  • v strom 10

    varadero 6

  • You are supposed to look at where you are going !!!

    Saludos!

  • Newby Veradero rider! Both are excellent bikes. I'd love a Verodero, but a 650 V-Strom is MUCH less expensive to buy...

  • Thanks very much for your answer BearGuardian! :)

  • paco is dumb as a stump :))

  • lol

  • varadero 10

    v strom 9

  • this video is crap

You are not comparing bikes, you are comparing a good rider with a bad rider.

My wife has 2005 Vstrom 650 and i have 2003 xl100v Varadero. Having ridden both bikes, I can say they each have their strong and weak points.

  • @loungelovers

    You're right mate.

  • @loungelovers hi. what is the diference between this 2 bikes...? wanna buy the right bike for me

  • I hate driving in snow

  • the varadero is very top heavy... very easly to be dropped

  • i love theese guys talking like they know .....do you know how many kg a dero has ? :))

  • The 2nd rider makes a big mistake by keeping his feet down along the ground. Not only is he anticipating falling over, but he risks injury to his feet & ankles.

The 1st certainly seems more skilled.

  • Yeah, you need your feet (at least your right foot) for the rear brake. He got spooked and grabbed the front brake, which sent him down. Remember the back brake, folks!

  • muahahahaha

  • hahaha ^^ best kind of road for newbies ;D

  • the evil smile on the vstrom's rider was obviously antecipating the inevitable fall of that noob varadero rider heheh

  • that's not vstrom vs varadero, that's experienced vs rookie...

  • no no no we can all see the varadero is shite

  • :) you're obviously a suzuki man. But they are actually very different bikes, while the Varadero is more of a comfortable tourer for long distances and bad shape roads, the V-strom is a lighter, more uncomfortable bike, better on short distances than on long hauls, but that has more offroad capabilities... so they don't really compete. The rider that fell was a rookie, any bike, even a goldwing would be capable of doing that patch of road.

  • i Like the Vstrom, even considering it to be my first adenturure move from my Sv1000Sz, but your point is valid, the test is only fair if they use THE SAME RIDER, The Honda is lovely bike, Costly if it's dropped though magazine tests point out, which may of made this test bit pricy LOL

  • I like both bike, I think they are good at what they were meant to do. I'm even considering buying the V-strom some time from now when I can sell my fireblade. I have a doubt though. Which Vstrom do you prefer? The 1000cc or the other? :) Thanks!

  • Hopefully this still means something... go for the 650... the only advantage of the 1000 is going over 210 kmh and the weight does change. I have a 650 and its an all around. Would never change it for a 1000.

  • @BearGuardian Nope, the main advantage of the 1000 is better acceleration and more horsepower in low RPM. Main disadvantages is higher weight and fuel consumption.

  • heheheh maybe the snow broke the fall :). But it must be expensive to let a bike like that fall. with all that weight high up, it's a big impact. :)

  • varadero gay vstrom yay!

  • Vstrom is the best bike I have ever owned

  • wtf is up with the driver? The Varadero is a great offroad bike.

  • ??????????? BOTH bikes are TERRIBLE off roads... for trails the xr650 or klr650!

  • KLR's are a heap of gutless shit.

  • u wish

  • sorry, they r not shit, but they need more power, that single thumper just doesnt cut it on the open highway.

  • grande nabo

  • Opino igual que tu

  • Its not about the bike, its a bout the driver.

  • roflmao what a crappy driver on the varadero =D

  • the varadero is FAR superior. I have owned both

  • No fault on the Vara, the driver doesn't have experience... those legs should be on the footpegs and he should be standing.

  • Standing? Not worth it. He just needed to be able to ride in a straight line. Probably better sitting with some weight on the pegs.

  • Wipeout! Unlucky, hope he was okay.

  • hey PACCO ...come to Greece to show u how to ride a varadero !!

  • Puta mierda!

  • DE DONDE NO HAY NO SE PUEDE SACAR

  • yes but the BIG H fell because the driver put his feets in wrong possition.....The Varadero is much better than the DL...

  • Only in your dreams!!!

  • right! Varadero looks like an old plastic made car dashboard and drinks like a camel!

  • Hope the damage wasn't bad! Guess that's the difference between the little 650 Strom and the big, heavy 'dero. I'll stick to my DL1000!

  • bullshits!he did it on purpose!

  • amanın yazık olmuş koca varaderoya

  • hahahahaha.. hey,it can heppen to anyone. im laughing because they say the vstrom cant do dirt roads, and the great honda fell down. ,,i have fallen many times on my DL1000

  • Everyone has; but it is still a better moto than Varadero!
