  • :O I'm interested in the Scythe i need that then im finished with the maka cosplay :OO

  • @Flowereypanda Sweet, they're currently set at $100 plus unknown shipping charges to wherever you live. 6ft tall, 4ft blade, still interested?

  • @SaberWingDragon Lol, I'm interested but i don't have the money right now D": Um how long will it take to make? or is it pre-made ...? If you're making it then i could probably come up with the money in that time, if you're not then could you wait maybe 1 or 2 months? And I live in US, Tenessee.

  • @Flowereypanda Not sure, maybe a month or two, but I won't start it until I get the initial payment. I'll likely calculate out shipping and have you sent the shipping price when I finish the scythe (so it's not over or under the price). Only reason is that the $100 covers the supplies for it too. Let me know when you have the money and we can discuss everything.

  • @SaberWingDragon Ok, thank youuu :3

  • @Flowereypanda No problem! Thanks for being interested!

  • wow really good

  • sorry to interupt your conversation but will there be a season 2? PLZ REPLY.

  • @linkrules5 This is a question thats been going around for ages, but seeing as how popular SE is, I don't doubt it at all. Very likely they're waiting for the manga to progress more. (If you havent read it, I highly recommend reading the manga and SE NOT!) Everything I've heard about it though says they're going to strip the series down to like ep 34 (where it deviates from the manga) and follow the manga (because the ending in SE made no sense with the rest of the series)

  • @linkrules5 Since it's studio Bones; the same studio which redid FMA completely to fit the manga, doing the same for SE is very likely. Only difference is that SE is pretty darn close to the manga up until a certain point, so I doubt they would reanimate everything, as I said last comment, theyre likely gonna reanimate from the episode it started to differentiate itself.

(stupid youtube comment character limit GAH)

  • fuck buying one! i can make this

  • @SuperFudgeproduction lol never said you couldn't. They are really fun to make :3

  • @SaberWingDragon i figured it would i love doing little cosplay projects (as long as i don't need to sew an acctual costume -.-)

  • @SuperFudgeproduction Actually with Maka's costume I didn't have to sew anything. Best thing to do is to go to Goodwill or Salvation Army and scout out clothing; look online for as similar things as possible; and go from there.

  • @SaberWingDragon i usually try to do that only i have adhd so everytime i go i end up getting somthing else and not the things i need for the cosplay im working on -.-

  • @SuperFudgeproduction lol thats why you bring a picture/checklist and slap yourself everytime you get distracted xD

    I don't know how many times I went there and got dvds or manga instead of the clothes I needed ;A;

  • @SaberWingDragon i was gonna write a list the last time i went but my friend came and we just grabbed random ass shit off the shelves and pretty mush pissed all the other shoppers off when we kept screaming MICROWAVE because of an inside joke we have -.- im gonna write a list now since its in mah head

  • @SuperFudgeproduction haha sounds like a plan! And yeah thats the drawback to bringing buddies. Theyre great at helping spot things you need, but theyre also great at spotting things you dont need but would waste your money on xD

  • @SaberWingDragon we wasted our money on plastic handcuffs -.- so now were trying to figure out what to do with them -_-, im 12 so stupid things like that seem fun to me, even thought after your home alone with no friends with you they get boring as FUCK!

  • @SuperFudgeproduction PFFFF I'm 18, I'm still amused by stupid things. I know the feeling exactly. I've had to literally pinch myself when I see something I want to impulse buy and ask myself; "Do I need this?, Will I ever look at this again after I buy it?, Is it useless? Is there anyone I know who would like this?" Otherwise I end up with like, 20 stuffed animals and pointless shit EVERYWHERE.

  • @SaberWingDragon i tried to buy a friggen smores maker once the only thing stopping me was my mom -.- and im acctualy glad she did for once, i even tried to buy one of those stupid pen holders like the ones you see in every movie.

  • how much are yo selling it?

  • @yaninja323 I'd have to make a new one, and it'd be $100 plus shipping due to supply costs (and I have no idea how much shipping is gonna end up since I've never tried shipping anything so large anywhere.)

  • @SaberWingDragon are you still selling ? :3

  • @SakuChannx3 You bet! :)

  • @SaberWingDragon can you tell me how tall it is in cm ? and also how long the blade is in cm ? :P

I'm looking for a scythe taller than me, and one with a kind of large blade c:

  • @SakuChannx3 about 182.88 cm (6ft) tall

and the blade is about 121.92 cm (4ft)

These are about the same sizes, maybe a little taller or a little shorter, however I can always work with a different size and keep them in proportion if this is too small

  • @SaberWingDragon usdhfbirbrubrgubi PERFECT SIZE ACTUALLY ! how much does the blade cost ? plus shipping? If it's over what I have right now i'll just get the money to pay for it :P i'll probably be able to buy it in the next month or two c:

  • @SakuChannx3 Well I was saying $100 plus shipping for the whole thing plus whatever shipping is (for the simple fact I've never shipped anything so large and most of the materials go into the blade anyways) Though shipping would be considerably less if it's just the blade. And I'll make it with a PVC connector piece so you can get the pipe yourself (all it involves is cutting it the right length and spray painting it silver lol so it's really simple :) )

  • @SaberWingDragon sorry when I said blade I meant the whole thing LOL.$100, alrighty i'll contact you when I get the money and etc c:

  • @SakuChannx3 Ah Okay. Well in that case, would you like the blade detachable or would you like it one giant piece like mine? There are pros and cons to both. Detachable: easier to transport/ship but not as safe for swinging (I would think anyways. I've never made one with the detachable blade) but One piece: harder to transport, but no worries about the blade flying off while swinging it around.

  • ESTA GENIALLLLLL!!!

  • How would you make death scythe/spirit? Im cosplaying stein and i wasnt exactly sure of how i could make him.... suggestions?

  • @WhaleCrackers97 hmmm... Most likely with four pieces of PVC pipe and a joint piece. One piece cut to the right size (with end pieces) on each of the ends but the one with the blade. If there's a way to flatten PVC pipe without breaking it (maybe heating it up and then slowly molding it flat with a hammer or something) then do-so down the part where the blade would attach, and make it taper to the joint. Not sure how strong that'd be though. But then the Cardboard/machae method for the blade.

  • @WhaleCrackers97 If that wouldn't work, then wooden dowels in a similar fashion to the PVC and a glaze over the wood and paint to avoid splinters. Depending on the size of the dowels, you might be able to just make the cardboard blade right over it and angle the blade like a sword, where the widest point is at the center.

  • @SaberWingDragon I seeee..... i think my dads gonna have to help me with thisXDDD (is a noob at making awesome props) :3

  • @WhaleCrackers97 lol good luck! (and we all start out as noobs haha, this was my first prop project, actually :3)

  • @SaberWingDragon Thanks:) And really??? The way you made this, I would've guessed you've been making props like this for a really long time!!! The only complicated thing I've made is Stein's screw, and that didn't turn out half badX)

  • @WhaleCrackers97 You're Welcome :3

Yep! Though I did alot of things wrong xD (Duct Tape makes the blade veeeeeery heavy, and it was HUGE so transportation was a pain. I also could've attatched the blade better than just gorilla gluing it to the clorox bottle) I wish I made a ton more, they're really fun xD

  • @SaberWingDragon Hmmmm useful informationX) Cant wait to make mine!!

  • @WhaleCrackers97 Good Luck! Let me know how it goes :3

  • That's kinda cool. But how would one go about making the demon sword for Crona?

  • @cloner8o hmm I would say start with two layers of cardboard in the correct shape with a few wooden dowels as the core of the sword between the cardboard that extends to the hilt. The hilt can be built up then from string, ribbon (being wound around the dowels) and or duct tape. Cardboard can be used as a base for the parts of the hilt that aren't round and fired clay can make the spikes (glued on with gorrilla glue) and painted bandages for the wrapping on the blade, normal bandage for the hilt

  • @cloner8o Thats how I'd do it anyways :)

  • @SaberWingDragon Thanks. You were very helpful. I'll try that.

  • @cloner8o You're welcome :3 Let me know how it goes!

  • AWESOME! You are amazing I will treasure you forever!

  • that is AWESOME

  • if i could buy one fro you how much would u charge

  • @VVeMoveForward That would be $100; but I have no idea how to ship that so we'd have to figure that out and then shipping charges would be added; unless you can/want to pick it up. :)

  • I'll probably make one now =w=

  • @kamillaponpon AH that, that is just Duct tape and cardboard for the top of the scythe.

I traced the outside of a duct tape roll, and cut out 4 circles. Two of them I cut maybe a centimeter or two out of the center and cut taped it all together. (one half circle on either side of the other two full circles to create the nail head looking piece you see before you.

If anything needs clarifying, let me know. And your English is pretty good :)

  • @kamillaponpon What do you mean what did I nail? There are no nails involved, just loads of duct tape and gorilla glue.

  • I LOVE YOU.

  • Now make the Witchhunter version!

  • @camotristan lol I'll have so many scythes xD

I also wanna make Soul's Deathsythe form haha

  • nice job dude bad ass

  • just a tip but the sythe isnt that long

  • @haloreachguy34 I know, I cut it down, the six foot scythe I finished with is in proportion.

  • I thought it was cute when I saw the clorox wipes box!

  • Neither have I lol n_n

  • @emaproductionsinc Good Luck then :D

  • Lol n_n I'm hopeing that that the styraphone I bought won't chip. I bought like the pink panther house sealer styraphone stuff and it's pretty strong but if it's not then I think paper mâché should do the trick. n_n

  • @emaproductionsinc I would hope, ive never worked with Styrofoam before so im not sure how it would work

  • Ya I might start over with the bladeT_T even thought it's a complete wast of paint well I could use the old pole and sell it... That seems cheep of me. but I have to wonder would it work if you use stiraphone board thingy ?

  • @emaproductionsinc Styrofoam should work, ive seen other people use it, it just chips easier, thats all, but it should make it a lot lighter so thats good

    and cheap is good lol

  • Thanks! I'll go check up the locations ! n_n

  • @emaproductionsinc you're welcome :D

  • One question what's the shaft ? Sorry I feel really lame asking but ya. Today I got the boots , cloak and shirt ( white and yellow ) I feel really good about that. But I need to find 4 more things I can get 1 for free . Yay gift cards ! Wich would be the tie wig gloves and skirt so I don't know were to get the skirt. I'm thinking wal-mart.

  • @emaproductionsinc The shaft is the pvc pipe part of it. and its fine. Your best bet is to look through thrift stores and second-hand shops, but you could check out Hot Topic for the skirt. Thats where I got mine, they've got them perfect length and everything. I got my gloves at Party City, they dont have the three stitches on the back of the hand, but you could easily sew them on.

  • Thanks ! :D however the blade part is going to have to be smaller due to my mom and dad T_T ya I also think they are not on board with the cosplaying. But I really want to see the voice actor Vic.M cause he is my fav and he's in my area during the summer he's the voice actor for spirit or death scythe in soul eater Edward elric tamaki from ouran host club and others but are you going to any anime cons?

  • @emaproductionsinc You're welcome, and if you make the blade shorter, be sure to keep the shaft in proportion as well, or it'll look really weird.

My parents didn't like me spending my time making such a 'wothless' thing either, but after the con, they changed their tune because of how impressed everyone was.

Yeah Vic was up here last year

The only one I can go to is the tora-con, which isnt that big to begin with. Its the only one in my area, and possibly much of new york state.

  • So cool!!! I never went to an anime con before I wish I could go T_T so I am! YAY! I'm trying to make soul sythe thing amabober but the part were his eye is consering me what did ou use to do that?? Also the top thing that you showed with the indent what is that made of???

  • @emaproductionsinc For the part with the eye, I just used a clorox wipes container, and for te screw indent thing (i think its supposed to be a screw) I cut out about 5 circles out of cardboard, three of which I taped together. The other two I cut in half, then cut about a centimeter from each of the flat sides, taped them together (round edges meeting round edges), and then taped those down to the circular pieces.

hope your cosplay is a success :D

Have fun at the con :3
