Not everything went to motor and considering when I'm done tuning the car will be more than 200hp OVER stock, I'm good with it and as far as I'm concerned a 12 sec runner works great for me that is a daily driver and still a fully loaded Maxima with everything including DVD Navigation. I'll keep it, you can do whatever floats your boat! Anyone can drop a 454 into a Pinto and go fast, how many can build a total 360 fast, fun car as a daily driver???
My car has a 305 with simple mods and including the price of the car and adding all the stuff I spent under 5,000$ and I have XM radio, Ipod interface, 2 x 12in JL audio subs for the daily driving and a new computer + full exhaust for a little more speed. And it only has 43,000 miles on it.
yeah the Maxima is nice... but all that work only good for 200hp? I personally wouldent have spent more then 1,000$ on parts for it.
I have Hotshot Headers with a high flow Cat and a GReddy SP-II Catback sys. Combined price with shipping was about $1500, The GReddy I paid $50 dollars for the swap out, shop owner is a friend so your price may vary. The Headers took 11 hours because a 6th Gen had never been done before and we were writing the procedures and taking pictures of the install. His price to follow on customers was $550. Worth every penny, b!tch to slap in. Thanks for hittin up my VID. Peace...
