the thing thats good about rogan is he has a public image of a sports guy, so people stereotype him as another ignorant fool. so a lot of people can sit there and listen to joe explain something that they never even dreamed of thinking of themselves and assume it has no merit since its coming from someone who is less educated than them. but thinking like that is a breeding ground for foolishness.

Joe is reaching a little when he claims drugs are illegal because they make us less perceptive to propaganda. They can be dangerous, that's why they continue to be illegal. Not saying its right. I agree that people should be able to make their own choices.

Life is about experience, the more you experience the more you learn, no matter whether it is labeled "good" or "bad" by societal conventions. We are all going to die, it shouldn't be something scary and foreboding, it is a fact of life, you just need to be aware. We are all human, no one has any more control over their situation than anybody else except what they fool themselves into believing.

Joe talking some proper sense again there. I've experimented with psychedelics for several years and agree with all his points. People should be willing to really explore the depth of their own mind, a depth impossible to see from our normal waking lives. Making these drugs highly illegal is madness, like Joe says, people should be allowed to make their own choices when it comes to expanding their own mind.
