  • It's kind of cute to see him rant like this :D

He has no idea what he is talking about, what the book talks about or what does it mean. He is like a lost puppy.

The book doesn't even have such a good reputation among anarchists

  • Did the guy just made a 7 minutes-long comment about about a 200-pages book he didn't actually read?

  • Peace isnt good when it prevents revolution.

  • How the hell could anyone take this man seriously, he's a classic propagandist fear-monger who speaks exactly like a typical used car salesman... Obviously full of shit.

  • Nous sommes condamnés! "" Sécuriser nos frontières! "" L'Europe est condamnée! "" "Ils protestent!" Mon dieu! ils commencent «les syndicats!" Comme un canular Internet je pense à écrire un livre sur ma propre organisation terroriste et d'obtenir Beck en faire la publicité pour moi.

  • Discontent will make people, no matter what edge of the political spectrum, want to take arms. It has always been like that, it will always be like that.

  • Unfortunately, the only real acts of violence are being committed by right-wingers.

  • A REPUBLICAN is criticizing people for supposedly "calling for violence"?? Conservatism IS violence!

  • what is books name?

  • I think the middle part of the book was good. The rest of was just cynical anarcho-communist nonsense.

  • AND also tom paine;

"[C]reate a national fund, out of which there shall be paid to every person, when arrived at the age of twenty-one years, the sum of fifteen pounds sterling, as a compensation in part, for the loss of his or her natural inheritance, by the introduction of the system of landed property. And also, the sum of ten pounds per annum, during life, to every person now living, of the age of fifty years, and to all others as they shall arrive at that age."

  • "It is a position not to be controverted that the earth, in its natural, cultivated state was, and ever would have continued to be, the common property of the human race. In that state every man would have been born to property. He would have been a joint life proprietor with rest in the property of the soil, and in all its natural productions, vegetable and animal."

thomas paine - agrarian justice, 1796

    (beck's supposed hero)

  • SET BROKEN BONES?!?! NOOOOES

  • One of the best comedy programs on TV

  • Weapons are necessary sounds just like the conservatives here. That sounds very right winged. Just because it's from France doesn't mean it's Liberal. But I will read the book since you shouldn't believe what the media tells you. Especially G-Beck.

  • it's a good book, and it's definitely not right wing.

  • I've been in the middle for awhile and mostly everything he says is from the right. I will read the book and make my judgment but I'm not holdin my breath.

  • Yeah, not right wing, but also against liberal hippie pacifist wankers.

  • @Duobitdezo Read the book. It's awesome. Definitely not Liberal. Very radical, important information.

  • Why would I listen to Radicals? Awesome if you love listening to entertainment pretending to be news.

  • @Duobitdezo

No it's not a liberal book at all, it's anarchist (or maybe autonomist or situationist, or from another anarchism-leaning French ideology)

  • Why does he compare the people who wrote the book to Thomas Paine and the "pamphleteers of pre-revolution america" if he hates them so much? doesn't that sound like a compliment?

  • Profound ignorance from Beck, as usual. The man has the intellectual capacity of Ralph Wiggum and the capacity for nuance of Joe McCarthy.

  • Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.

  • @redmolotail But, what is "peaceful?" Is handing over your farm and turning it into a collective like in 1970s Cambodia the peace anyone really wants? As for me, I think can do with a little less government involvement in my life. Besides, I think the anarchist in Italy have already proven that they reject peace and only seek to kill everyone that disagrees with them.

  • "Using violence de-legitimizes the cause"...and yet this man supports the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the militarization of the border...

  • i love how all the posts on here are just making fun of Beck. I just cant help but wonder how much of this all he believes himself, I guess all of it to appear that adamant

  • Hmm, I want this book! *LOL*

I never heard of this book until now, and now I'm curious. <_<

  • It's available free online, in HTML and PDF formats. Google "the coming insurrection" and it'll show up as the first link.

  • Thanks! =D

  • Lol, the funny thing is that were it not for Glenn Beck, this book would never have made it outside of fringe anarchist cricles

  • Sure, Glenn, try to delay the inevitable.

-"The media tells you i'm a threat" YOU'RE THE MEDIA, how stupid do you think we are? Fuck!

You won't prevent america to wake itself up.

  • The LOLs never end.

  • Glenn Beck.

    The Great Idiot Demagogue.

  • A 'dangerous book'? LOL, books don't kill people, people kill people. Are we gonna have to start burning 'dangerous' books like in Nazi Germany - perhaps this is what Glenn wants?

'It is important that you read it' - yet he says he hasn't read it yet! It seems the world should be more afraid of reactionary nutjobs like this.

  • This book id from the left...this other book is good it's from the right! lol fucking propaganda.

  • this fucker dont understand shit

  • he is, but leftists in the world, not specifically american liberals

  • he's not smearing libs, he's saying that violence isn't the way to make your point.

That & the fact that every violent act is always "a consevative" -- just like how every dog who bites is "a pitbull".

It's proven time & again that using violence doesn't lend credibility to your cause -- but somehow the authors of 'The Coming Insurrection' missed that.

No reasonable person could believe that violent acts would bring about a positive change in society (6:25 - 6:30 in video)

  • Comment removed

  • maybe the us army should be brought back from overseas then. certain types of violence can actually be an effective fight against a greater violence.

  • maybe you should actually read the book. the invisible committee is calling for people to do nothing more than most right wingers do here which is uphold their right to bear arms. it is not for attack, but for defense.

there are even specific passages on how that would be a stupid idea. that we are most strong when we can choose pacifism and just walk over our oppressors because we are a strong enough movement.

read before you critique my friend!

  • Yes, the arguement for armed pacifism struck a chord with me. I admit I glanced at the pamphlet but that hit home.

Aside from that its just another educated person venting thier spleen.

  • I wouldn't say he is smearing liberals.
