Your driving skills make more of a difference in a race than any mods or brands do. 1/2 the people I RC with have no concept of throttle control, they are either pinned or off. Then they wonder why a stock 12turn titan beats thier 10000kv 20S setup. lol

@tinysam747 neither are waterproof nor are they water resistent. as for your speed question, the mini trophy truck is about 15-17 mph and the blitz is 30-35 range. but don't go in any water with either.

this truck doesn't get enough credit. I just bought both the sc10 and this Blitz. Let me just tell you all, that I think the Blitz makes the sc10 feel like junk in comparison . The HPI feels really planted and smooth. The sc10 steers quicker but is more narrow thatn the Blitz and feels like a rattle trap. I run reedy 3600 in both and they are plenty quick enough. Maybe tires will help the sc10.

I love the arguments on here about brands. They are all good and if they put a smile on your face thats all that matters. All of these trucks are designed by people who can drive which means all brands are more capable than the average driver. Learn how to drive and you can whip ass no matter what you run. lol

@nileater39 hmmm iv never driven a blitz but iv heard good things out of it ........the slash and the blitz are both very good starter choices but try to find a used 4x4 slash......you might be disappointed in the speed of 2wd.........my 2wd slash is fast but then very slow........get a 4x4 slash used if possible but if not id stick with the blitz......get a 3s 5000 LiPo battery also
