To get washers this small I think it is hard to find in hardware stores but you can try though.

@Zenon5k You dont have to when you order a Cubeforyou cube. It has a fat end on the spring and that goes towards the core.

How do you know which way the washers should go in? One side is flat, the other is curved, right?

Yes, the flat side should be facing the spring and the curve side should be facing the screw.

Yes. Mine came with small washers. The big bump in the end of the spring acts as a washer actually. But I would think spring, screw, small and big washers would be better though.

I am considering buying this 3x3 cube, but I do not have alot of spending money for cubes. If I were to buy this cube, it would be my only 3x3 for awhile, do you think that this is a good speedcube? Does it pop often?

In my own opinion, I don't really like its feel. My cube pops often but there's another review that says it does not pops a lot. James said the new spring, screw set that is going to be released soon will make this cube unpop-able. Maybe you will want to try this cube after they have been released.
