I have a gas powered weed trimmer -- I replaced the blades with a wire coathanger. It will fucking damage anything one fucking lot quicker and more easily than that and it didn't waste two years of my life.

There's something which I find kind of funny about all those air soft mini guns. You go into great detail about the design, and try to make it as accurate as possible, but there is no such weapon. The modified gun used in Predator did not feature that chainsaw type handle, it's from Terminator two. But there's no real gun which is carried that way. You could just as well make a design which is entirely fantasy, because it's a fantasy weapon. At least in Predator, the gun was carried in a strap.

@LordZoth6292 the range is that of your standard airsoft assault rifle, is pretty accurate too as it has a tightbore barrel.

the only reason im standing close to the target is for the viewers sake, that way you get me with the gun and the target close enough being shot to pieces all in one frame.

1. a simple design means less to go wrong

2. a simple design, means a cheap design

the reason you dont see any homemade miniguns that function like a real minigun is because it requires precice engineering and a lot of moving parts and as such will take a lot of time and money, something that your average hobbyist doesnt have much of.

@PaganWarDrummer I'm pretty sure the Echo1 and the Custom Vulcan minigun fire the same way as his. Because It's much easier to build, and airsoft guns don't have overheating barrels. So the rotary barrel assembly is merely a cosmetic effect.
