In 1933, Article 48 of the Weimar Constitution allowed the democratically elected chancellor (Herr Hilter) to suspend civil liberties in order to preserve the republic. We all know what happened after that.

Something big and ugly just around the corner that's going to allow for overt implementation of the massive techno-police state infrastructure now in place. And anti-war types/dissidents no longer have any constitutional rights - nor does anyone else for that matter, but most won't realize it until it's far too late. As G.Carlin said, "they're not 'rights' if they can be taken away. We have a Bill of Temporary Privileges."

The government must fear the people. We have two choices. Massive numbers of people dissenting, or one guy with a gun. One will work, the other one won't.
This would have been passed into law regardless of who is in office. The wealthy elite will protect themselves from the rest of us and this is how they do it.Nothing will change the authoritarian direction of our country until we all take to the streets and bring the money machine to an indefinite screeching halt.Wait and see.
